  • U.S. Deflation Update [View article]
capitalism? capitalism works better on free markets. Nothing wrong with SOME liquidity, but this is out of hand. There is a cycle to everything, there is nothing wrong with temporary deflation.

Crabster, I don't have a problem with the idea of short selling. There are many tricks of the trade. 20 percent of traders are shorts. Stocks can be manipulated upwards too. MNKD is still not a 100 percent guarantee. I do take issue with the major manipulation in the markets though. And biotech is by far the most manipulated sector. If people don't want to deal with shorts, they need to buy high priced stocks that are solid companies, especially liquid. Manipulation is very low there. Taking on MNKD as an investment as many other low priced stocks takes balls of steel. The additional benefit of shorts is when a positive binary event happens, the short squeeze is on. What concerns me is these young bright minds coming out of top schools with degrees in computer science and finance and they go work for HF's as programmers to make money off of 1 to 5 cent swings. This provides absolutely nothing to society. In fact, wallstreet doesn't provide much to society at all. I would rather see people try to be an Elon Musk than a HF algorithm programmer. I laugh when I think of HF's with a T1 line right by the stock exchange so they can quote stuff, etc and move the market before retail sees it and then swing the other way. What a life!

I thought SA was cleaning up the mess they created on this site. The only good thing about inept articles like this is, the investors come out of the wood work to rip these articles apart. Where are those SA bozos when you need them?

I've been asking people in the medical field but I don't know anyone with diabetes... I would love to know their view on the warning label and the lung function test. Are most people willing to do the test and take the medication right away or wait on it and see what happens to others? This may sound trivial but may also cause a buffer in additional sales. I have a feeling if things are fine, MM's won't get on the band wagon until after a positive review on MNKD patients 6 month review. And from there on a massive short squeeze. I have initiated positions in MNKD. But I have a feeling there will be plenty of time to add more at lower prices.

Soy and corn is plentiful in processed foods. Corn itself is not profitable, its subsidized to create nice cheap poor quality food. High Fructose Corn Syrup is in just about everything. We pay taxes to further facilitate the decline the health of the population. People take in way too much sugar.

  • Vringo: How To Lose At Winning [View article]
I don't know why anyone would call him a sell out. He expected a higher price on the RR motion but he didn't use emotions and took his profits. I am curious if he will come out with any other stock ideas. I consider seekingalpha more of a sellout by allowing this article. It's inept, useless, and author pretty much did it out of spite from his own poor trading.

Ravicher should learn what a stop loss is, and stick to law and stop pontificating on investments like VRNG. The glaring volatility when he posted articles on VRNG is not a coincidence.

  • Vringo Vs. Google: Value In The Jury's Mistake [View article]
Speaking of payoff, I don't believe in coincidences. It's too easy to put 3.5 next 35 when they all represent what damages that VRNG can capture. Now many people are intertwining the max damages and the royalty rate. People are really obtuse. Google played it perfect by playing dumb. I hope JJ leaves the verdict alone and gives it to google with an even higher RR.

  • Which Car Industry Stock Should You Own? [View article]
Can't go wrong with Hyundai. Plus having KIA as a subsidiary. Hyundai and KIA are where Toyota and Honda were 20 years ago. But with all these pumped up loans most car manufacturers will benefit... at least for now. Too bad Subaru is private.

alot of hot air in the article. The stock has no revenue, it works solely off technicals. Pull up a weekly chart with the 50, 100 200. Clearly shows buying areas. Its make or break time in the middle of next year.
