Game Over for U.S. Oil, Natural Gas ETFs? [View article]
Ha, funny that you ask. This is an issue that they planned to address, months ago, and it so happens that the day some guy gets his time to speak to congress about the issue, the commodities market has already corrected itself. Awful timing for that guy.
Personally, I just know better. If oil is going up, and I see a spike at the gas pump, I invest in the oil companies to make up for that little bit lost at the pump. Almost everyone has that opportunity, or could work to find it. They could learn how to invest or trade, and save up for however long it takes to get started - do some paper trading in the mean time.
I almost think the real problem is jealousy. People complain because some group has something they don't. They want the government to fix it. Why don't they just get off their couch, get an education, and do something for themselves.

If "investors" get burned on ETF's, they get what they deserve, because they didn't do their homework.
I think ETFs are GREAT! I've made some good profits on them this year. You just have to know what you're doing. They are NOT for buying and going long - that's a ridiculous idea. They are NOT for investors. Traders only! Big difference between a trader and an investor. I like to trade the options for them. If you time things right, you can make incredible returns.
After a seesaw day, stocks soar in the last minutes of the market day/week/month. DJIA +1.15% to 8500. S&P +1.36% to 919. Nasdaq +1.29% to 1774. Crude oil +2.1% to $66.29. Gold +1.8% to $978.80. [View news story]
Haha, fuel for metals indeed. Go Gold, silver , and copper! Looks like black gold is going up too.
Yes, perhaps this is the last gasp. Even the market makers can't keep forcing the market up forever, before going broke. I hope there will be some good commentary on this to read over the weekend. I really wonder which way this market is heading. It seems that the market has wanted to go down the last few days. Its like stocks have been propped up to prevent the fall everyone's watching for.

Okay, I just tried finding a drug stock that was over $100, and could not find one. Nothing comes even close, at this time. Why would the author suppose that this stock could hit $360?
Unless they invent a drug that prevents death for eternity, $360, $260, or even $160 is not going to happen!
