  • Silver Wheaton: The Turnaround Has Begun [View article]
PM's are being left out because a rush into them equates to a loss of confidence in Wall Street. They will fight that until they can fight no more.

MFITZ, You are spot on with something being wrong. Can the TBTF banks make precious metals meaningless? My bet is no. If anyone hasn't figured out by now that the FED will do anything to hammer investments seeking long term capital gain, then I don't know what to say. I don't doubt the power of the FED and bullion banks to drive price down. My question is this: how low can they drive it? Metals have been money for like 6,000 years. Fiat currencies don't have that long of a shelf life. I purchase silver for a hedge against currency devaluation. I realize it sometimes trades as a commodity, and other times as real money. Please ask yourself, and do the homework, of what has retained it purchasing power long term. Is it the metals , or the dollar. That will tell you all you need to know about what percentage of your portfolio needs to be a hedge.

I am comfortable with my physical metals. This is a time when people will look back and kick themselves in the backside that they were scared away.

Again do your own due diligence, and remember that the miners, streamers, and Gold ETF's are the more risky play long term. Some will pay off handsomely, others will go to zero. Physical will never go to zero. With the Gold to Silver ratio extraordinarily favoring Gold, I am betting Silver to outperform going out 3-5 years.

JMHO, and I am not selling at this ridiculous low valuation.

  • Silver Wheaton: Buy The Drop [View article]
I just bought more SLW. You folks really think wholesalers are going to source metals cheaper than this streamer? There is no speculative risk to the mine itself, since SLW is not an operator of the mine. It just purchases a stream, with a hedge if the miner can't produce the agreed upon stream. Again, SLV is no guarantee you actually have the metal, as counter party risk is in play when you buy SLV. SLV doesn't possess enough silver if everyone liquidated their shares at once.

I will buy SLW on the way down, if current market conditions persist. They can't tank silver much below what it is with out drying up future supply. Don't get scared, get smart.

Hey Fun Trading, your right, trading is dynamic. Right now it is in a cesspool of blatant manipulation. So all these fundamentals are meaningless in a rigged game. How do you measure manipulation in a qualitative analysis. I am not being sarcastic. This is what is going to destroy any confidence in price discovery. Too much BS all over the place is going to change everything.

I am betting on the metals. The physical ones. Anything not in your hands is an illusion created by your masters.

If that is the case I would tell them to come and get it from my cold dead hands Alois. We the people will never allow confiscation. I assure you the unwashed masses may succumb to anything, but not those who keep and bear arms. Sincerely, a veteran, and retired career law enforcement officer.

They got me for some hard earned cash also. If you check an article by Pump Stopper you will have a solid analysis of who this company is and the criminals involved. The SEC contacted me about them, but I have heard nothing since. One of their Board of Directors, former energy Czar/ former New Mexico Governor Bill Richardson, is a player in the scam. It is truly deplorable that our country allows these outright criminals to exist. If you don't do your own home work they will suck you dry. There is no one standing in the gap for the vulnerable retail investor. Which is why I will always post when I know fraud is being committed. I am retired law enforcement, and quite frankly I believe people like this are as soul less as violent felons. God sees the truth and waits. However any God fearing person needs to expose those that are outright criminals who benefit from deception.

Smart move not to. Listen to their conference call. It is all smoke and mirrors, and an attempt to fleece more people through a corrupt marketing agency with a track record of pumping scams.

What a joke of a company. They bleed cash. Their business model is great, if the goal is to separate retail investors from their cash. This company is gone in 6 months. Probably not before another pump and dump by Liviakis. I hope people read this conference call, because it is a total joke. You have been warned.

I don't hold SLV. I prefer PSLV, as I trust Eric Sprott actually has the metal for each individual account owner. Doubtful on the heavily levered SLV and GLD. I have some speculative metal junior miners, SLW, and a nice quantity of physical, both silver and gold. I don't go all in on anything. I am heavy in commodities right now, as I tend to be a contrarian investor.

I don't discount the streaming model, but when folks pay high prices for little return on investment I get concerned. Take a look at Walter Energy. They picked stuff up at the worst of times in the MET Coal Sector. Lots of SA articles encouraging folks to buy WLT. Glad I limited my losses in that. Perhaps coal is dead. I still own some ARLP, as it has years of increasing dividends, and may be the last man standing in coal.

I have been in and out of SLW for about 3-4 years. I still own them, but I am concerned going forward. I think the tax issue is priced in. I think metals are very close to a bottom, and the risk-reward makes me a holder right now. Silver isn't going away. Physical isn't drying up, but premiums to spot are way up. The day the fake paper price detaches from the physical price due to a failure to deliver will be the event that flips a switch. My physical metals are my insurance policy, and nothing I will touch anytime soon. Percentages are dependent on each individuals risk tolerance. I have more physical than speculative, but that's just what is comfortable for me. My physical is in strong hands. I doubt the price is going down much from here, and I will just pick up more and dollar cost average down. Physical is not going to zero. Every other stock could. I am never all in on anything. Good luck to all here.

I know the dollar may look strong, but it will die. The rest of the world knows we may be a safe haven right now, but our debt problem is not being addressed and I see pain coming. Hence I own physical metals. I get laughed at a lot for it. We shall see who laughs last.

You folks may be right about the author not understanding the streaming business, but MFITZ, I don't think you understand counter party risk in owning SLV. You only own something if it is in your hands. So I hope all you folks owning SLV have been wise enough to stack physical silver. A failure to deliver could be an end to the fake paper price. I hope you all know that the biggest manipulation going on right now is in the PM market. Wall Street and the FED don't want any potential profits to be had in anything other than the PONZI scheme over inflated stock market. The day of reckoning is coming folks.

Glad to see everyone hammering SLW. Good things coming. Buy when there is blood in the streets, or just trust the FED in a race to the bottom. There is a coordinated effort to crush metals. I am not buying the fear trade. I don't trust the street at all. If I am wrong then the whole world is upside down. Bank on SLW here, if you can hang on and accumulate during this false fear environment.

  • Silver Wheaton: 2 Reasons To Stay Away From This Stock [View article]
This article is way off base. Could it go down further from here, of course. The FED raising rates, yeah right. Even a token rise in rates will be short lived, as the market will tank when cheap money goes away. I love how so many talking heads keep talking down real money commodities. Buy when everyone fears. The CRA stuff is old news, and CRA's position is in no way a slam dunk. Long SLW, and will pick up more shares on the cheap if it dips further. 75-1 silver/gold ratio right now which is extraordinarily rare, making silver really cheap vs gold. Over 4 trillion on the FED's balance sheet right now, just waiting to ignite inflation when it hits the street. Even if you believe the statistics about growth, BLS, which are highly suspect, then why are nominal wages stagnant. This is such a managed/manipulated market no one believes the numbers you espouse.

Excellent work Raw Energy. I wish i would have read some of this before I doubled down recently. I am concerned about sustainable yield after 2016. Your points are valid. VNR may have bought some time, but without energy price recovery there will be some pain ahead. Not sure what i am going to do now, as I tend to chase yield and add on risk in our current environment in this casino. That is the price we pay in the current zero manipulated interest rate policy of the FED.

My thoughts exactly RAMPANT. That is precisely what Canada is doing to SLW (Silver Wheaton) via tax policy. There is a government push to kill commodity miners, most probably to nationalize them. Freakin soulless criminals of the highest order.
