"Well into the next decade 2012" That's only 2 years of earning in the area of this year. The economy will take at least that long to rebound to previous years. DD still has a much better 2 year outlook that 2 of it's main rivals DOW and Monsanto.

They have been open about it. Some people just don't understand it or just ignore it and want to put the company down at every chance they get.

What you fail to see or understand that many of these products are not products you buy off the self. Many of these products and chemicals are newly developed for another company or companies need to produce their own product. Someone like yourself who has been out of Dupont for @8 years or more would not see that. Many companies in different fields request Dupont to R&D ways to over come problems or improve their product thus in creating a new product to be sold to that company.
