Why should you not trade these ETFs? the liquidity of an ETF is a function of its underlying liquidity not the daily traded volume of the ETF. market makers will still provide size at a tight spread if the underlyings are liquid regardless of how many shares of the ETF are traded on a typical day.

the NAV of EWT should not be given any heed as the underlying stocks are limit up at 7%. when the Taiwan Index Futures were up 10% the NAV was only up ~7%. you cant buy the stocks at this NAV level so thus the "premium" of the EWT is in fact not a premium at all. you should be comparing the EWT return to that of the Index future.
