I'm 20 and I am going to college college in California.. I love watching CNBC researching the market and soaking up any knowledge of the markets and economics that I can to prepare me for my goal of becoming an analyst then move up and would like advice.

  • The financial regulatory reform is good for the financial sector.
    The big investlment banks don't want the fiancial regulatory reform to pass and are lobbying balls to the wall to stop it. The fact is, it would be GOOD for the financial sector. It would make it harder for banks and other entities to make ridiculous bets  do things that are dangerous to the company and US economy. This should make investors more confident in thier investments and will lead to a more stable economy. I shorted Goldman Sachs today but I think it should have a nice rebound and stay up based on profits. This individual that has been charged with fraud has nothing to do with the fact that Goldman will continue to make nice profits. I'm bullish until corporate profits start falling again.

  • how does this sound
    So most of the leaders right no are banks. This along with interest rates being low tells me we are late in a recession/early in expansion and to move my money in financials and transportation. How does this sound?
