Sirius XM Continues to Deliver on Q1 Promise of Expanded Programming Lineup [View article]
Mel is a puppet for Malone! Once Malone has his shares converted he will play a big role into the future of SIRI. My only worry is what his plans will be. The future technological potential for SIRI is endless and Malone knows this just as well as anyone. This is why he opted to bail SIRI from bk earlier this year. If you believe Mel is behind the recent success of SIRI you should check your ears to see if they're wet.

Over half a million downloads in just 5 days? Imagine the amount 5 months from now.... even with possible low percentage penetration its very hard not to be optimistic about SIRI's future

If I could I'd punch Mel in the face for being so stupid, great job on not including the biggest subscriber base content available for the iphone app.. that a way to increase subs

Off topic but why doesn't anyone speak of SIRI going international? Please correct me if i'm wrong but It is my understanding that they have extended their service to Canada with a little over a million subscribers already and Mexico. Doesn't this open the possibility of an additional 140 million potential subscribers? One would think if it is beginning to catch on in the above mentioned countries what about South America, Europe and Australia? I think that when we think satellite radio we should look beyond the U.S market because there may be a day when some little polynesian kid is listening to the surf report courtesy of Sirius XM radio.
Yes a profit read the conference call I dont feel like looking through it to show you. Thanks for the recap I think all siri investors know what happended with the liberty mutual deal.. and why do you think they would have a interest in SIRI?? and for your other comment below thanks for saying exactly what I said just in another way. Why are we buying back the stock when it drops to .25 if you feel so negatively about SIRI. maybe its because your a short selling whore.

Common case of people dumping after a hope in astronomical numbers at the end of quarter. If this company still survives @ .05 what makes you think it will die? Regardless of the loss in subscribers this quarter and dwindling auto market SIRI was still able to turn a profit and with a reduced cost to maintain operations profit will only continue to grow as well as cash flow which is really the deciding factor upon which a stock is judged. Let all the cowards sell now when things aren't looking good pretty much of a monkey see monkey do type of act. .

I wasn't to sure of the date and I didn't find it that important to research based on the overall point I was trying to make but regardless the fact is it happended, probably should of been a bit more accurate sorry about that, thanks for agreeing and indeed it will take time and patience

I see a pattern, everytime this stock seems to make a stride forward there's always some kind of pessimistic comment or article aimed to deflate all hopes of SIRI to continue its rise. I think a lot of investors and critics may focus to much on the numbers in regards to SIRI, satellite radio is the future of radio broadcasting, as in the 50s when fm replaced am radio, soon xm will replace fm. In the digital age that we continue to strive towards there is no room for terrestial radio to grow. You can see this happening with television already as it makes it's shift to satellite and digital recieving, eventually radio will began to assume this same fate. Although the stock price may be microscopic as of today it is only a matter of time before the stock price represents the value of this innovative company.
