  • Axion Power Concentrator 234: May 8: Axion Power Completes Private Placement For $9 Million And $1 Million [View instapost]
    John
Thank you for reminding me why I bought AXPW stock in the first place. ( I bought AXPW after I read the BMW/AXPW Istanbul paper.)These type of information should be listed in AXPW investor section of their website to help the general public to decide whether to buy AXPW stock.

    APH
Please highlight John's comment on the concentrator headings. It may also help some old AXPW stock holders to remember why we bought the AXPW stock.

8 % interest from a hard lender is a great deal. For example: Property hard lenders demand 10% to 14% on safe lending deals: one year loan on 50% of property value.

On top of it, you are not paying it back with cash. Therefore, the hard lender is taking a risk with AXPW. For the lenders to recoup their money/interest, they have to sell their stocks above .26.

For the lenders to make some real money off their investments, the stock need to go much higher than .30. Therefore, the incentive of this deal is to push the investors to let the stock price to go high.

In conclusion, I think the company made a decent deal. (Before this deal, there were so much fear that the deal will push the stock to .15 or .20. We should be happy that it did not happen.)

Any idea or theory why ATDF always jump to the front of the line?

Very good points. Can you imagine how hard it was for the engineers at BMW and NS to convince their upper management to get involved with AXPW, a R&D company that had hand made product?

If the engineers at BMW and NS did not believe PbC battery was the solution to their problems, they would not have stuck their necks out to convince their upper management to proceed with PbC testings.

After years of testing, if the PbC was not the solution, they would have walked away from AXPW.

Now the carbon sheet is fully automated, it is no longer a R&D product. It is a fully commercial product. Now the fear to buy a hand made product is gone.

AXPW still need to eliminate the fear of a single source supply, single failure for BMW. The ideal solution is to have three supply sources so the supply source can survive double failures. However, e-power and NS can live with a single supply.

I concur with you 100%. As a retired project engineer who ran multi million dollars engineering/construction projects, there were always problems and delays. Solving problems were part of the job. Since we had hard dead line, we worked around the clock to minimize any delays.

However, BMW, NS, E-Power do not have hard dead line. Therefore, we just have to wait.

If PbC does not work, BMW, NS, E-Power would have drop AXPW in a heart beat.

All these negative talk is a joke. For those who do not believe in this stock, just sell your shares. I will be glad to buy them at a lower price.

Thanks for your input. I am new to this blood spot, but my sixth sense tells me that we do not have big sellers like last year.

    Mr. I and HTL
Looking at level 2 via TDAmeritrade today, it looks more and more like retail selling. I did not see too many MM with their 2,500 offers today. I also did not see MM tried to beat each other to the front of the line with .0001 lower price. I think the axonistas /retail sellers will control the price.

If we follow the previous action of higher volume one day after the news, we should see higher volume and price increase Monday.

    question for investing pro

Why show the world that you want to sell 305,000 shares at .31 with one sell order?

Wouldn't this type of offer keeps the sale price down?

It will be interesting and rewarding run if all Axionistas decide not to be bottom feeders and do the following when the Epower news and any future good news are announced: ( It will also be nice if some insiders buy the stock in the open market after the news. This way, it does not look like illegal inside trading.)
    1. Buy some shares at the asking price and put them in our sock drawers.
    2. Do not use these shares as your trading shares.
Since we believe there is no big sellers out there, the Axionistas fire power should out gun the small retail sellers. This will move the asking price up. The fence sitters will jump in because their fear of missing this moving train will kick in. When the stock price go up, the year end tax loss sellers will be gone. In addition, the next stock finance price will also be higher.
Therefore, we should all stop being bottom feeders and say we are Axionistas and not bottom feeders. I hereby pledge I will not be a bottom feeder and I will be a fearless Axionistas again.

When I placed 10k bid @.2501 via Tdameritrade this morning. My bid came up on level 2 - CDEL. It took the following orders before it was filled:
    10:28:16 - 2500 shares
    10:28:17 - 2500 shares
    10:32 -1000 shares
    11:55:58 - 4000 shares
It looked like the big sellers are gone. Those sales probably came from 4 retail sellers via CDEL.
