    You are 1000% right in order to have a product for sale this year 2013, and not in some distant future 2015, 2016, Apple is moving ahead with A7, A8, and beyond. All of the products Apple will release in 2013 have been in the back room ready to go for 2 years at least.

    Wall Street just doesn't get the long range planning, that when into buying PA Semi, Intrinsity, or Anobit, the entire process flies right over the heads of Wall Street or the so called tech press.

    Apple doesn't need Intel in mobile it's the other way round Intel needs Apple, Intel and Microsoft are dead in mobile for 2013, 2014 and 2015. Google, and Amazon aren't even completing in hardware at this time if profit is what you want out of each piece of hardware sold.

    They are mixed because the software that runs on them sucks, like using Windows 8 on a modern PC. Ask Samsung or HTC to do hardware and they are ok, ask them to write software and they suck at it, and after search and ads Google isn't far behind.
