Google glasses is vaporware at this point, is it in the hands of the public, developers? And is the software finished? Price? 1500 dollars? Hmm... It's the Q all over again until it is actually released.

Windows 8 and the Surface are crap, Microsoft is going back to the drawing board to put more lipstick on that pig, and that isn't getting off the ground anytime soon (if you are a developer), Apps do matter and if you are a new startup or a established company the iOS ecosystem is the only real way to make money now, not in some distant future fantasy world, Microsoft's and Googles mobile efforts have been pitiful if you are third party developer trying to actually make money with mobile apps on a tablet or a smartphone.

  • Apple Won't Buy Cirrus Logic [View article]
Cirrus Logic appears to be a very low end company with nothing special to offer Apple other than a large buyout price, wouldn't Flipboard, Quark, or Tesla be better deals long term.

  • A Simple Look At Apple's Cash Flows [View article]
At the end of 2013, Apple will have added another 35 to 40 billion dollars of profit to its bank account, while most of their tech competition, Microsoft, Google, Amazon in particular will not make any revenue (profit) on mobile hardware. In short none of these companies appear have any ability to create a new profitable revenue stream outside of their core revenue area. But Apple has in practice demonstrated this ability several times in the last 16 years.

  • Apple: Do You Hear The Crickets? [View article]
The fundamentals of profit, loss, saving money, making products that people want to buy and living within your means never go out of style, certain principles work and will always work, Apple needs to be tough and focus on the long term, which they seem to do better than any other tech company at the present time, continue to long at the long term like most of the major German companies.
