  • Arotech higher on new orders [View news story]
2015 brings a new year and new opportunities. ARTX is a current sleeper... with record earnings and growing business, modest institutional ownership, and a bargain market cap. Transition to new CEO (long time insider) also offers new energy. Easy to see as a buyout candidate anytime.
At this price ($2.20 day of this posting) is easy to start an initial entry. Scale in with stock (not options--not enough volume/liquidity) beginning here, and add additional shares at closes over 2.60, 3.25, 4.50. And yes, I've just entered with an initial purchase.

  • Kinder Morgan Partners: Hedgeye's Error Could Cost You [View article]
It sure isn't a buy today. At 70, yes, maybe a good buy again, and 60, heck yes! But today? There are lots of opportunities. If you are holding.. well I hope your cost basis is low. If you bought at the highs, capitulate now and reenter (assuming you actually believe in KMP) when the weekly SHOWS it is done going down.

David - thank you for your article. I would be interested in your specific criticisms of ABX and why you think this is a poor choice. I could not find your 2009 article here on SA.

XRX is just dead money, parked at low rate. Another option, that will pay you 9.8% while you wait is FTR.

any positive event, indeed. like this article. nice write up. however I am expecting even more disappointing A/R performance as state and local govts continue to delay, not pay, and some, default. hard to go anywhere positive when your customer base is bankrupt.

Thank you for the comprehensive ETF Guide. One thing i'm currently exploring is how one might set a target for an inverse ETF such as SEF. Do you have any insights to offer through your experience with ETFs? Regards -

  • ETFs with Greatest Spikes in Volume [View article]
I'd like to walk through setting targets for some of these ETFs.. particularly inverse ETFs. Take SEF for example.. looks like a prudent time to buy it right now. What would be a target to consider? How high can SEF go if banks go down? How high if banks go down 25%? 50%? Crash and burn utterly? Anyone have any perspective on tackling such target setting?
