More Heads on the CNBC Chopping Block as Financial Media Landscape Shifts

Mariposa you hit it on the head...constant screaming and women looking the same. Must be a requirement to work there. When you have a strong show like CNBC and they are telling you all is well with the fire raging in the background it made me wonder how good the news was.
Day after day they kept stating it can't get much worse....wrong!
Day after day gold can't get much higher...now the mantra is how much higher will it go as if it was a game show.
I just dont watch them much.

Disney / Marvel Deal Bad for 'House of Mouse' - Citibank

I agree there are terms of the deal that makes Disney money. Why would you buy toys for someone else and then wait to play with the toys after they are worn out? Disney can also serve up a deal to have the characters running around the theme parks to generate interest in new movies.

Amazon Drops the Price of the Kindle 2 to $299

What they should have done was fall in-line with Sony and drop the price as soon as they introduced the Kindle DX. I imagine that they are going to have fire sales on the original as it is priced the same as K2.

I currently own a Sony PRS-505 and think it is great for my needs. Being able to download content that is not tied to Amazon is what drove me to purchase it. I had many tech books that also had a PDF and the original K would not let you import or it was very difficult to use.
