  • Is Android Only Surging Because Apple Is Letting It? [View article]
Adobe products have gotten very buggy, and their support is awful.

  • Is Android Only Surging Because Apple Is Letting It? [View article]
I'm an iphone user, but I cheer for the Android as well. Why? Because I believe that they make each other better. Let the Android users enjoy their phone and let the sales fly, because that is what keeps Apple on their toes. Apple's continued success will continually make the Android better as well.

What I didn't like was the sheer domination of the Windows platform in the business world in the 80's and 90's, making it very hard to use a Mac. Thankfully, that's changed, due to what I believe is Apple's sheer domination of the educational market.

  • The Apple-AT&T Class Action Suit Should Have Come Years Ago [View article]
I'm surprised at the lack of thought demonstrated by a Senior Editor and someone who holds themselves out to be interested in technology.

Its about time someone sued AT&T and Apple? Really? As you point out, consumers can choose to not buy the product, as you did. If we sued every company that sold a product (especially in the tech world) that wasn't perfect, not only would we be suing everyone, but there would be no invention, especially in the tech world.

What's the point of tying up the legal system with a lawsuit, only to reward some law firm who specialize in class actions with a little corporate blackmail that we all pay for, and really adds nothing of value?

Seems like your second to last paragraph pretty much sums it up. Had you thought about it to begin with you'd realize that there is no point here.

  • Ackman Explains Why He's Short REIT Realty Income [View article]
In a down market I'd take Realty Income's portfolio over GGP's portfolio any day of the week. GGP's properties are pretty. O's properties make money.

  • High End Home Market Still Has Further to Fall [View article]
John is right. While this is an interesting argument, the fact is that this thesis has *never* proven true in the residential single family housing market. People traditionally buy and then rent out homes for the tax shelter and the upside on increase in value.

If you want to be short on the homebuilders, and you may be right on that count, there are plenty to go around. I'm not sure I would have picked TOL, though. They are one of the better companies.

I am a homebuilder for 30 years and a real estate investor. I have no affiliation with TOL.
