Thanks for the article Saj. I was looking for some source of opinion on AIRT and you bring up some interesting points. I think AIRT is undevalued. But its revenue dependence on a few customers is worrying. I like the dividend yield growth and the dividend yield itself that AIRT has maintained over the years.
Another very important point I consider is that this company pays a dividend. In this economic times it pays to hold a stock which pays dividend while the shareholders wait for the stock price to appreciate in value. Another thing to note is that most of the phone's nowadays have navigational capabilities which increases competition. Knowing the way technology evolves GRMN would have to be at the top of its game to stay competitive. Also, its an added benefit when the financials show that management is shareholder friendly and has a stake in the company.
BOLT Technology: An Undervalued Stock? [View article]
In 2004 this company had a revenue of around 15 million in a period of about 5 years its ttm revenue stands at 52.7 million. It has more than tripled it revenue in that time frame. You have pointed out that countries like India and China might help boost that growth. Currently, for the fundamentals it has it is undervalued. So even if this company were to grow its revenue and eventually its bottomline at about 15% for the next 3 to 4 years. I think at today's prices this company is still undervalued selling at a multuple of seven times earnings. In the last four years this company has had a ROE in excess of 15%. Coupled with no debt, it looks like a winner.
What Drives Consumer Adoption of New Technologies? [View article]
I have followed Nintendo stock for some time now. Although, I am not a person who plays video games, the very first time I heard about what the Wii could do I understood that this was a technology that would take the gaming industry by storm. It turned out to be true, everybody was talking about and playing the Wii. What was so special about it? I guess it was what you are talking about. Simple to use and understand but almost miraculous in its application. Playing bowling with your family in the comfort of your home is truly a satisfying experience. Now, lets see what Natal from Microsoft has to offer. I have a position in Nintendo.
Thanks for sharing your thoughts in this article regarding the financial crisis that we have all gone throw. I was starting as an investor when this crisis hit and I have made few of my own mistakes. But it was due to this crisis that I have learnt a boat load of things about the stock market and true value of a stock, and the extent to which stock prices can fall. This recession has made ne a better stock investor and I intend to keep this lesson for the rest of my life. I have been severely down in one of my real estate stocks, and now know that it was not that good an investment in the first place. Hope times will turn better but definitely this crisis has made me a better investor.
Bing: A Threat to Google or Just Another Zune? [View article]
I have read similar articles elsewhere on Seeking Alpha comparing Zune to Bing. Only time will tell whether BING will be successful as a search engine, or not. I love products that Google comes up with. Currently, I do not search anywhere accept Google. Google helps provide all answers whether at work or at home. I use GMAIL because that I feel is the best online email system I have used over the web. I have got hooked to Google Chrome and ditched Mozilla. For me Google products have been magical, easy to use and for free! There have been several complaints from friends and colleagues that have used Windows Vista. They complain it is a heavy process and not compatible with many of the applications they use regularly. Hope Windows 7 and Bing bring back the Microsoft magic that has wowed us in the past.
Microsoft Squandering Cash on a Meaningless Product [View article]
Yesterday, I saw an ad on TV for ”Bing” and thought to myself that Microsoft is spending a lot of money advertising this product. Also, it must have spent billions of dollars developing the “Bing”. I hope some good comes of it, and does not end up like “Zune”. This article reminded me that companies that venture out of their main line of business are seldom successfully and often end up destroying their current line of business as well. The article rightly points out that Microsoft’s moat lies in operating system; I guess this is where they should concentrate to create wonderful products. But , it has traditionally been Microsoft’s strategy to take a popular product from the market, then redesign them, enhance them and give users something more than exceptional, like the Microsoft Office suite of products.
Three Microcap Value Stocks Worth Consideration [View article]
From what I have read about RFIL it seems to be a conservatively run company. Cash per share of $2.269 with a stock price of $3.95, not bad. It has zero to no long term debt and has enough cash and cash equivalents to fund future growth and or acquisitions. This is an interesting stock at this price. I have a tiny bit of position in this company.
Can Microsoft's Bing Actually Take Search Share from Google? [View article]
Rightly, said PassingBy55. Rather seeing microsoft displace google in online search. I would much rather see some one replace microsoft as a major operating system provider. You are also correct on the simplicity part of the google search. You don't have to be Microsoft Certified to do a google search:)

Yes, I do agree that Google needs a competitor because I feel competition leads to better products and prices. Lets get Google thinking a bit harder:) Looking forward to use BING.
