The Obama Plan: We Can't Entitle Our Way Out of Paying Taxes

The demise of the pension system will be giant problem when people start retiring. Why? The 401k system IS better than the monthly pension system. But, people are not putting enough money away to take advantage of the 401k system. I have worked at places that the majority of people are not even in the 401k plan. They are morons. If they do finally sign up, they put as little as possible in instead of the max allowed. The fact that so many people carry credit card balances month to month makes my point, too. Poor fiscal responsibility is not just the federal governments domain. Many individuals are ignorant, too, when it comes to basic money management.
