wow.. I liked this article. Good comparison with CRM historical progress - one needs such thinking to evaluate emerging companies and narrow down to few bets.
TraderMark - I am missing the point of this article, if any intended. You buy a long term "growth at good value" and look at chart and get out in six weeks? And on top of that complain about Wall Street not valuing R&D.
What did you expect when you bought the stock? I am sincerely at a loss.

Just look at the iPod price evolution over past five years... result - dominant, long lasting market position with fat margins... and yes, iTunes provide the "blade" of the "razor & blades" business.
