NLR: Perfect Product to Track Nuclear's Growing Popularity [View article]
Oh ny the way I read a study a little while ago that stated that if we could replace fossil fuels with nuclear fission we would need to start building 900 new reactors right now! How many did you say were being constructed at present....good news for energy traders I guess. Get ready for a future with way less energy.

In the short term nuclear fission is not sustainable...which obviously is good news for traders as uranium is a NON-RENEWABLE resource just as fossil fuels. If the countries of the world want to waste billions on uranium exploration/storage/ge... and containment they are dooming themselves to a future of reactors spread around the world and no fuel. Does that make sense in this day and age? Now FUSION technology is what I'd place bets on...plentiful renewable/re-useable fuel, way less radiation and byproducts that are way less hazardous. Check out ITER.
