    Welcome aboard Jason.
I think BCLI need to do RS and uplist (and raise money at the same time)
If the stock drop based on the above, it will be buying opportunity.

    thanks for a great article.

Agree on the buyout for biosimilars, but think it still 2-3 years out.
Large company can also run a few trials in parallel and not one by one like ATRS is limit to (by budget and resources).
    Good article, thanks.

  • Antares: Challenger Emerging Against 400-Year Old Condom [View article]
    Hi Ali and Loko
Thanks for the dialog too, really enjoy it (same as the article)

As for the NES source, this is the whole section from NCBI article:

    Study medications
T gel 10 g (Testim) was provided by Auxilium (Malvern, PA) in tubes containing 5 g T gel and applied to both upper arms and shoulders. The formulation is a hydroalcoholic gel containing 1% T. Ten grams of Testim applied to the skin contains 100 mg T and delivers approximately 10 mg T to the systemic circulation (25). NES gel was formulated and developed by the Population Council (New York, NY). The doses of 2, 4, and 6 mg/d NES were supplied as 1, 2, and 3 ml of 2 mg NES per gramg gel. For the 8-mg dose, 3 ml of 2.7 mg NES per gram gel were used. The NES gel was aspirated into syringes by the study staff and dispensed to the subjects who applied the gel daily to an area of 15 cm2 on the abdomen

I don't think it was the ATD at this point but I don't have evidence in either direction.

The pump patent was METERED GEL DISPENSER which was filled in Europe in 2008 (EP20080849960) after the first NES trial. (US 20100217176 was filled in 2010)

My point again, it's nice to speculate, but we also need to understand that company must disclose material information and new Phase sure qualify.
I don't think we will hear about any of those gels (Male, female) in the CC, so investor won't get disappointment when they don't.
The company has enough in their pipeline to drive the stock price higher.
    Regards

    Ali and Loko
We are in 100% that Antares is part of the Female BC (Nestorone® and estradiol) where they also own the patent together with PC.

But I want to bring again the first link Loko provided
    http://1.usa.gov/132LnxQ (publish April 2009)
Which I think refer to the first trial with Nestorone and Testosterone
    NCT00229593
    From this article:
"The NES gel was aspirated into syringes by the study staff and dispensed to the subjects who applied the gel daily to an area of 15 cm2 on the abdomen"

So the trials were already running without ATRS and I think ATRS provide the Nestorone pump for the 2nd trial (NCT00891228) because they were already working on the female version.

    My point:
Antares might get some very minor impact from the Male BC if they are selected to provide the pump
I see much more opportunities with the female version, but PC need to find a partner first and we talking 5 years to market.

By this time (if we long ATRS) I think we will all be very happy with the (hopefully) success of the injector system.

Have a great weekend all, great price action today.

    Ali and Loko
I would like to repeat the question, on how much ATRS is involved in the Male BC (they sure are in the Female):

Question about your link in #1, in the original study it's stated:
"The NES gel was aspirated into syringes by the study staff and dispensed to the subjects who applied the gel daily to an area of 15 cm2 on the abdomen"
I think this is study NCT00229593 - (So no ATRS pump).
    http://1.usa.gov/12umrve

Only in the 2nd trial the ATRS pump is mention:
    http://1.usa.gov/15dhC0J

So my question: how much ATRS is involved beside providing the pump and can Population Council go to someone else (Ferring?) and get the pump from them.
This is since ATRS is not in control over the Nestorone.

Also Loko, here is the link to the conversation we had on YMB on January (about the P3 transdermal)
    http://tiny.cc/cg1iww

This is material information (IF TRUE) and the company must disclose it, so IMO Antares maybe supplied the pump to the Male BC, but are not involved in trial.

    Thanks

    Shadow.
One more point about the insider sales, is locking lower capital gain tax before 2013.
I don't like the fact they sold, but on the other hand they did not take advantage of any news run-up (actually they sold befor expected news on PFE product) and they sold very small portion during holiday season.
