Skipped to the end but as pertains to us investors and this web site how has the stock done over that "20-year plus history"?

I will not spend any time beginning to list the accomplishments of two of the most successful people of our time but what does saying that about the poster folks?

I take it you have never been a business man. Especially as relates to data processing. It is something you just do not start over from scratch or pick it up and move it. The whole Y2K problem was all about fixing what was in place to work in the new century instead of a redo. Deja Vu all over again with the cloud.

    Sorry, your inexperience is showing.

Nope I leave all but the very worst. It helps people see who you are. Sounds like you feel bad about something.

I have followers who seem to look out for me though. Must be a success thing.

On the one hand you are completely wrong since Amazon has said nothing of the sort.

On the other hand what better time to do it than after you "spend 2 decades operating at a loss putting every mom-and-pop independent bookstore out of business, watch as Border's and other chains go under, and as B&N is on its deathbed".

    Congratulations on a lose/lose post.

"Really buying low is better then high?"

There you go - perfect illustration of my point. Somebody pretending to know when low and highs are before they happen. Case rested.

"Or how about you prove they are wrong?"

Yes suspected that's about all you've got for an answer.

Yes they really should hire better mind readers that know exactly when the last of every item will sell. That would be nice. Not plausible for anyone with some common sense, but nice.

"Drawdowns on wider weakness may present a great buying opportunity."

People have still not learned over 30 years that ANYTIME is "a great buying opportunity" for this stock. Waiting for "Drawdowns on wider weakness" meant losing out the vast majority of the time. You buy great companies like this one anytime at any price.

"How about they *prove* that it is the best available investment by actually investing in things that they know something about?!"

Or how about you prove they are wrong? The choice we have for who is correct here is the management of one of the most successful companies ever or you the internet poster.

...making it a good idea to call out the drive-by useless posters. When short on time you know who can be skipped by.
