Where's the Growth in the Auto Insurance Market?

I think that people may start shifting from the super carriers to smaller, niche providers. I work at a company specializing in writing coverage for high net worth individuals and families. Homes must be worth 1 million or more and for auto, there must be more cars than drivers. We offer coverage in many places that the big insurance carriers have withdrawn from(namely coastal areas of Florida). The thing is, we actually save people money, which is why we're able to gain new policyholders during the recession. Anyway, I know of at least 20 other smaller insurance start ups in Florida alone in the past couple of years. I think people are beginning to realize that the big companies don't always offer the best premiums, and they're starting to do their research and look elsewhere.
