  • Beware the Current Bull Market in Derivatives [View article]
The banks are brazenly robbing us without a gun.
We don't need to oversee their managements, give them taxpayer dollars to cover their operational losses, or even regulate how they operate.
The solution is simple. If you run a bad business, you fail. If you commit fraud or other financial crimes, you go to prison.
By putting them above the law, we have opened a deadly pandoras box that will sink our country.
The people at the top seem too ignorant to understand the severity of the problem, and their solution of recapitalizing bad businesses will blow up in everyones faces.

  • Decline in REIT Prices Is Likely to Continue  [View article]
Sam has no position, an opinion without cash in the game is sadly lacking conviction.

  • UTStarcom: Falling or Shooting Star?  [View article]
Pumping and pimping this dog after a six month rally and UTSI did not much participate , ludicrous. Nothing over the last five years would tell you this company is a cash drain loser with a management team that rides a broken merry go round? Even the insiders were dumping shares below 2 bucks. This company is shameless, misleading, and a borderline fraud. Put that in your pipe and smoke it.

They'll be glad to take your money too.
The shareholders hate these guys. Lu Wu Sophie Blackmore Toy...a never ending parade of charlatans and empty promises.
It once held great promise but is a shell game after so many disappointing quarters.
You can't bank on potential, turn arounds, buyouts, etc....their track record is just horrendous. Caveat emptor.
Of course, the stock is cheap, value players like it. But it's cheap for very good reasons. No significant contracts or revenue rampup.

  • Outlandish CEO Pay: How to Fix the Problem [View article]
Face it, these bankers and their salaries, perks, options, etc., broke the financial system and destroyed good companies, jobs, 401ks, and the hopes of millions of people. Yet no repercussions felt.
Then we recapitalized the same criminal outfits that perpetrated this massive fraud. That tells them it's okay to fail, the taxpayer can help us out. Stock price goes up, new criminals step forward and the game has begun anew.

  • Exxon Mobil Is a Buy [View article]
I agree with Gassy. XOM will find it difficult to replicate the gains of the last 10 years. They've already captured a huge part of the US national wealth. The pickings will be slimmer going forward. Oil being harder to find and more costly to extract, this will pressure margins. Look for the smaller, nimbler players to excel.

  • Downside Risk for Emerging Markets  [View article]
Good article, there's no reason to be invested in emerging market economies at present. They will feel the shock soon of our not travelling to them, not buying their products, and the ripple effect of the recession will continue soon after this bear market rally . For now the emperor is wearing a loincloth. Russia and China are the most vulnerable. But Russia has lots of oil and gold so they'll be ok maybe better than most as their citizens are not burdened with credit problems like ours.

The banks and the government are hopelessly corrupt.

  • Will Chimerica's Demise Take Down Global Economy? [View article]
    They are burying us slowly.
But in truth, we made it possible for them to do it.
They are not our friends, nor we theirs.
Our way of life is in decline, theirs is rising.
They are becoming more like us, we will become more like them.

Time to ride my bike and go harvest some vegetables from the community garden, then have a cup of tea. It's a good life !!

  • Trade War Fears Weigh on Futures [View article]
China calling us "rampant protectionists"....that's rich. They have stolen all our industries, technology, hold all our debt obligations, flooded our shores with every imaginable piece of goods, etc.
What do we have left to protect?

Our govt. is corrupted, our homes are foreclosed, our jobs are gone forever, our business leaders have been been enriched beyond all sensible measure, and yet we the people have lost everything we once held dear to our hearts.

How can we compete with a slave labor culture?
