  • Why It Will Take Years For Uni-Pixel To Reach Production, If Ever, Meanwhile Executives Will Still Get Rich [View article]
Your 'logic' escapes me. Since management salaries are relatively low, for management to 'get(s) rich off investors' money', doesn't that mean that other shareholders will also get rich, too?

And what about all of UniPixel's partners--Intel, Kodak, etc. Have they been duped as well?

Your self-serving tripe has almost run its course. You have gone from 'can't be done' to 'won't be done' to 'it's only a lab experiment' to 'it's simply a promotional gimmick'. I'll be interested to hear what, if anything you have to say, if/when the company has its first customer. Perhaps it will be 'yes, but it's a small sale'. Sigh.

"Killion didn't want to talk about yield or revenue."
Didn't want to talk, or didn't need to talk? Who divulges this kind of information anyway, particularly in an early stage developer?

"The inline testing is not ready."
    Thus, the waiver.

"The P.O. was already paid for with preferred license agreement."
Incorrect. Preferred License Agreement was for meeting production performance goals and went toward increasing the number of production lines."

"This is just the first volume test run."
Killion did not divulge the numbers, but somehow YOU know? Doubtful.

"The sensor might never make into a final product."
And the Red Sox might never win another World Series.

"Until there is a firm statement about yields and revenue this stock is a strong sell."
Really? Your advice contains enormous unlimited risk with the possibility of very little reward at these low prices.

"How many people need to lose their shirts off before you give it up?"
    Same question for you.

Thank you, Chris, for your well-researched and logically presented work. In an age when (too often) investors substitute their feelings, beliefs, and judgement for the facts, your work should serve as a warning that logic, reason, and thoughtfulness will still and always win over fear, uncertainty and doubt.

As you so patiently lay out, EVERY short argument to date, save one, has been proven false by logic, execution on the part of the company, and time. Anyone who believes that the short argument now (yield) is the problem is in for a rude awakening in a few short weeks.

  • UniPixel's CEO Discusses Q3 2013 Results - Earnings Call Transcript [View article]
This 'transcript' is laced with inaccuracies and incorrectly transcribed words due to, I believe, a relatively poor audio quality. Listen to the call again when available and you will hear 100,000 square feet as I recall.

Additionally you may see a satellite image of the facility on Kodak's web site. It is substantially larger than 1000 square feet.

  • UniPixel In Review [View instapost]
Let's be crystal clear here shall we? You do not BELIEVE the technology does not work. You haven't seen it. You haven't touched it. You haven't been to Rochester or Lufkin or even The Woodlands.

You and your fellow short sellers HOPE the technology does not work. And you are making a huge bet on that HOPE. Thousands of others, including "Dell", "Intel", and the newly formed Kodak say you are wrong and are working to prove it.

Hmmmm. With whom shall we place our bets?

Yes, people hear what they want to hear. Doesn't that also apply to you?

And instabloggers can write what they wish to write, leaving out important details such as the fact that Mr. Killion believes that UniBoss would currently qualify and only waits for documentation.

Your continued obsession with ATML vs. UNXL ignores the simple fact that there is plenty of room for both in this market. Killion himself stated that in the recent call. Where was that in your recent "report"?

You are quickly running out of lame arguments

  • Uni-Pixel: UniBoss Looking To Be Another Failure For The Company [View article]
Under Goldbaum's extreme theory of successive and continuing 'failures', despite their inaccuracies, Thomas Edison would have never invented the light bulb.

As Edison himself acknowledged, each 'failure' brought him closer to the ultimate solution. Perhaps UniPixel is poised to do the same.

  • The Risk And Reward Of Uni-Pixel, Inc. - Tread Lightly [View article]
Thank you for the time, energy and professionalism in this article. One thing I think we can all agree on is that this is a little company that is 'overselling' itself, OR is about ready to tap in to a potentially enormous market with a disruptive technology.

While these two outlooks are at the extremes, your attempt to be 'fair and balanced' leaned a little bit too heavy on the doubters side of the argument, at least for me.

You cite two main arguments against the company's position--'questions' that have emerged, and pending lawsuits.

The pending lawsuits are directly linked to the profitability of the company. If the company tanks, the lawsuits go forward. If the company is profitable, the lawsuits go away. The success or failure of the lawsuits is directly related to either premise and are not predictive of the company's efficacy.

As far as 'questions' that have 'emerged,' they have been propogated by the short positions and it serves no purpose to rehash these old, and failed arguments. Each and every one has been disproved and/or debunked except two.

The last two questions for us are: Does this company have a product to sell? and Does this company have someone to sell it to?

Slowly, these questions are being answered in the affirmative.

So, yes, tread lightly. Tread lightly as you would with any investment.

But more and more UniPixel's potential rewards outweigh the increasingly smaller risk.

And the risk of the shorts is perilously high compared to their potential reward.

Betterqol's comment is confirmed! The answer to your question posed in the headline is "NO SEC investigation!"

Same tired pap from the self-indulgent "Seth". This is a tired re-hash without substance whose purpose is to line the pockets of the doubters.

Facts? Nope. Logic? Hardly. Reason? Thoughtfulness? New contribution? No! No! and No!

Greed at the expense of others? Ding ding ding ding ding!

  • Uni-Pixel: A Picture Is Worth A Thousand Words [View article]
Even if your dubious claims were only marginally true (which I contest) are you actually saying that your "extensive due diligence" (unnamed sources and disgruntled former employees? Really?) is greater than the ongoing due diligence of many huge industry players, including "Dell" and "Intel"?

Despite your clear self-interest, one fact remains. UniPixel is a late stage development and early stage manufacturing company. If (when?) potential problems exist in UniBoss I believe they will be discovered in the extensive testing process and corrected.

  • Uni-Pixel - A Stock Ready For New Highs [View article]
    "One horse show"? Hardly.

UniPixel has partnered with numerous other major companies in their endeavor to carve out a portion of the huge touch screen market.

Companies such as Dell and Intel are rumored to be the 'major PC manufacturer' and 'ecosystem partner' working with UNXL toward this goal. And as recently as last month the company announced a partnership with Kodak to ramp up production to millions of units per month.
And if the commenter means by 'one horse show' that UniPixel only has one product, its Diamond Guard product will piggyback nicely on any UniBoss touch screen for outstanding screen protection.
If it's a one horse show, this colt is quickly becoming ready to ride.
