6 Challenges for Qualcomm's Zeebo in China

Nice take on this issue--I wrote some about Zeebo on my blog as well, and would only point out a few things--Zeebo isn't scheduled to try to enter the China market till 2011, it seems to lack multiplayer as far as I've read and seen of it (big mistake in any market), and most importantly, China currently bans the sale of video game consoles. Gray market imported Xbox, PS3, PSP, Wii, etc. are only found in those warehouse malls from tiny vendors, but are non existent in Wal-Mart, Carrefour, Amazon.cn. According to my colleagues, this is due to the government's fear that video games will increase online addiction.

Also at 200-250 bucks, it won't really be cheaper than those systems except the PS3. I wish it well, but they'll need to do their research well over the next year or two.
