  • A Review Of European Telecoms Yields  [View article]
I have VOD VZ & TEF along with BCE. given the need for telcoms to protect & enhance their balance sheet position, with dividends coming second a move like the recent CTL cut gives me cause for concern. With any improvement in price I will look to reducing my exposure.

  • Where was this story 50% ago? Its cover showing a tombstone engraved "R.I.P. PC," Barron's says DELL and H-P (HPQ) will fade from view. Next up for trouble could be Microsoft (MSFT), seemingly cheap at 9X 2013 earnings, but which reported sales at its Windows unit off by a third Y/Y after backing out pre-sales for Windows 8. The world awaits the launch of Surface at midnight on Friday. More winners/losers here[View news story]
Yes, the PC will be here for many many days. I will again invest in Dell & intc, but I'll wait for further drop and let the fluff disappear. Noise, noise can really mess with a price.

  • El Paso's Strong Performance Should Continue, Bolstered Further By A High Dividend  [View article]
I have to think that the management of KMP(& KMI) will work to shareholders benefit. I consider my KMP as a long term hold , like the DY (5.8%) and will hold for income and capital appreciation. The more throughput on the lines, the greater the revenue.

Good overview. I don't know CRBC, but I'm willing to invest for a modest profit.
