May be it is time that we, US of A, take cue from Hong Kong and install an independent commission against corruption (ICAC). The head is appointed by the Head of Hong Kong Island/President of United States but, it's charter is to investigate corruption in both government and public sectors. The commission is an independent government organization which has absolute subpoena power and the commissioner of ICAC does not report to any politicians to avoid any interference and the results of the investigations are turned over to the equivalent of Attorney General for prosecution. This is almost the same as a continuously operating Grand Jury investigation.

By isolating the commission investigators from the interference of the politicians at all levels we may be able to harness the multi-B$$ wastes and all pork programs from all different federal and state programs without cut back on benefits to the general public. This also make balancing budget within a short time possible. Any time a politician become a multi-millionaire after a few terms of service in Washington should be enough for the commission to start investigation. Against jmho.

    Maya, Greetings !

If I were RW, I wouldn't appreciate investors of one of my suppliers snoop around and asking questions which they should be asking the company that they invested in. To us Axionistas, this is an exciting development but to RW this is the beginning of development of an exciting business. The strategies that they ponder should be critical to the success of their venture. To divulge all the nitty gritty proprietary information to investors of a supplier company just doesn't sound like good business practice. And, to let those information ended up in competitors possession is just unfathomable. I like what JP stated above

" If I were to suggest anything to Al, it would be ask open-ended questions and let them talk about goals, strategies and what they've accomplished to date. Pic and Mario are salesmen and(at) heart, which means they love to sell themselves. Let them."

The lists of questions by D-inv may not be pertinent. They should be directed to TG instead. Again, we are investors in Axion Power, not Rosewater. Those questions are more questions to do with Axion family. jmho !

Does RW have any connections in India ? With their power blackouts and insufficient juices during regular hours most of the hi networth families are running diesel generators on the continue basis. They hated it because it is noisy and dirty.

Base on recent conversations with several visitors from Bombay and New Delhi, they don't mind the cost but they want a system tailored to their needs. The size of the "hi networth families" are as big as a fourth to a third of US population may be more.

Yes, we need to cleanse Washington of all the Senile old incumbents, I completely in agreement. But I will not vote for neither of the candidates for Presidency. I am a registered R and I do not trust Romney. Obama is incompetent. I hope that no President of United States of America will put their own family before the rest of the American people especially when there is an unfinished war and 25 million unemployed trying desperately to find a job. There is no choice, at lease not for me, in this election !

    OG,
I have always enjoyed reading your posts here and other places. I have learned a lot from you.

But on the subject of Romney I think we really should not discuss it here even though you have every right to do so.

Why waste time to discuss somebody who wants to be President of the United States; reduces taxes; keeping defense and social security budgets intact and balance budget. An absolutely impossible task even to a 5th grader. In the mean time, he pays less than his share of the taxes. Why would I want to pay him a salary and run the country on taxes he collects from me while he is not sharing the tax burden? Most of the Americans may not be as smart as Mr. Romney but they are not stupid either. I hope that he stops treating them like one !

I am not a fan of Obama either. Whatever the result is in November, we are going to suffer another 4 years of inept presidency
until 2016. Hopefully, more sensible person/s will come out and run for the office of the President of US.

Base on what is stated, " The Battery Management System (BMS) of Corvus Energy is a proprietary system which works automatically to equalize all cells in a pack. Electronics transfer any excess of energy from above specification cell to the below specifications cells in the battery pack." this is a very complex and expensive battery system. It sounds like that BMS is monitoring and controlling each individual cells inside the battery pack. That also implies the there are more than two battery terminals on the battery pack. A third connector is required for BMS to perform power switching between cells. No, this cannot be true. It is just too complicated and expensive product to be widely adopted. PbC is far superior in comparison. jmho.

Using Mil-spec parts, you can design to -55 to 125 degrees C. For regular commercial design, it should more than handle the battery operating range.

72 degrees is the environment, the actual operating temperature of the electronics is higher when charging. Otherwise it should be same as room temp.
