Natcore Technology (NTCXF) has what appears to be breakthrough technology with "black silicon" and "liquid phase deposition (LPD)" both under R&D studies. Whether or not it can compete for 50 c/watt remains to be seen. Net Weight is important for shipping cost and construction handling. Niche markets might be those with limited sq. ft space (roof area) where lower price/watt is sacrificed for higher output. Obviously the more efficient and lighter cell may not be the least expensive cell.

My take is that this article doesn't tell both sides of a story and this is why you all must do your own homework. Simply read the prospectus and ask yourself some questions. Theres a gamble with all investments and if its not a gamble then its not an investment.
