    With state incomes shrinking they are cutting back on funding to privately run prisons. For that reason, I would expect that industry to shrink, not grow.
    Ackman keeps putting out news releases on shorting O. Must be getting desperate not to take a bath on that.

    Completely agree Old Trader. These guys insist on treating Realty Income the same as any other commercial real estate REIT. They are fundamentally different in that due diligence is front and center of their operations. They buy only the best and manage it extremely well.

    Realty Income is the ONLY company I have had complete faith in through this financial calamity and it has performed well throughout. Dividend has been raised on schedule, as always. Cramer's off base here.
