Strong Transformers Movie Opening Bodes Well for Hasbro

true enough, as stated in above article kids still at the age of buying toys could care less what the critics say about about a film. unless maybe these "critics" are kids themselves. i doubt it. remember when gerber baby foods added salt to their infant baby foods because some fat cats on the board of directors kept agreeing to "yeah, needs more salt, doesn't taste right, definitely needs more salt" as if the kid was already used to the perfect margarita. i doubt it.
finally, in support of hasboro i have only heard the tremendous outlook of the movies selling the toys. not once have i heard anyone speak of the toys selling the movies. the impact here is word of mouth (best and truest nonfabricated form of advertising ever to come along). this does not come from the toy on the shelf. it comes from the toy of the friend next door who says " i can't wait to get another one of these. you gotta see the movie to decide which is YOUR favorite one!!!!". that is the sort of thing that can really start a children's STAMPEDE! their own parents are helpless against something like that. they would be trompled trying to stop it.
