What Happens To Precious Metals And Bank Stocks In A Post-Euro World? [View article]
Thank you for this very informative article. My question is on electronically "printed" money, particularly Euros. I know that $1mil printed in $100 notes weights 22 lbs and that 500 Euro notes are very popular for transport reasons, but what about the creation of electronic monies transferred between central banks, where seigniorage occurs? Your article makes complete sense when coupled with Prof. Philip Greenspun of Harvard's article, which I refer you to here: http://hvrd.me/LMLb95. He states that we print money out of thin are, my concern is that money is now thin air. I will be looking forward to your future article and wish you the best.
Just compare SSO to its inverse SDS over 5 years. S&P 500 down 13.73%, SSO down 48.02% and SDS down 62.39%. If these ETF's where true to their purpose SDS who be up 27.46%. There's a 100% discrepancy here. Total rip off, total crime
