  • Yahoo's New Search Interface? That's Bing to You [View article]
    I think this is not exactly how it is presented. What I feel is if any changes MS wants to introduce in Yahoo, it will not at all start at the front end. There might be changes in way searches are done. Interface similarity wont be of much use as Bing and Yahoo both have unique identity and making them similar might hurt both the brands. Even if interface has been changed with an intention I personally do't see it a reason to like Microsoft for it.

  • Google's Schmidt Resigns Apple Board as Competition Heats Up [View article]
    I think as we all can easily surmise there is something more than this. But then instead of speculating the best would be to see the change in policies of companies towards each other. I think at the least for some time the relations wont appear to be quite different then current scenario. Let us see what goes different in future.

  • Let's Ponder the Chances of Success for Microsoft and Yahoo [View article]
    I think Microsoft and yahoo may team up against the competition, but the reality is that competition is still far ahead from them. They may work together but then MS has its own product to promote Bing and to make it success. Also additional responsibility of having Yahoo as well in their kitty it would be a bit of tough job for MS to clear up the Google clouds over the web users. I never say it would be difficult but surely Google wont make up things easier for them. Hopefully this partnership becomes a success and we see a competitive world once again, quite unlike the AOL-Google partnership.

  • Outsourcing Hubs Find Ways to Tap Into European Market [View instapost]
    @Chris

    Entering European markets has always been tough for Asian markets, but finally opening for them. This will go long way in establishing a proper channel for outsourcing as existing with North America. The only thing is how effective Asian's would be in serving niche markets in Europe.
