This again means MA is a screaming buy. 50 million out of 1 billion people with a 15 million getting their cards this year. Look at the growth! Look at the dividend increase. MA has barely scratched the surface on debit cards. The recent drop was profit taking, nothing more.
Russia and Iran Ponder an OPEC-Like Natural Gas Cartel [View article]
With these two long term "friends" of the usa talking a natural gas opec, wouldn't you think that this makes Halliburton a screaming buy as other countries try to find new sources of nat gas?

It is called guidance. A company that states an ok quarter with great guidance will do well. This gave great guidance. 4x revenue growth in the next 24 months. Don't worry about what has happened, look at what will happen. The quickest way for a ceo to lose his/her job outside of a felony, is to get caught in a lie at a conference call. Thain would not have said it if he did not think it possible.

Cramer loves this stock as well. Just said to buy it last week. Explained the subjective side to the multiplier for stock price. If you are in, congrats.
Weakness in Long-term Bonds Not Just Seasonal [View article]
There is really little reason to buy 10 year bonds when stocks like ConEd and SO (and probably ATT) have a better dividend after taxes. Also, on top of the guaranteed return from these dividends, there is an upside to each stock. So one can make more on the dividend than in a bond, and still have a possible upside in the stock price. Because of the large dividends, there is a built in floor for each of these stocks. If you want security, these pay better and are nearly as safe.
This is my favorite stock for 07. Perhaps my 3rd largest holding. I see a good quarter, stock doesnt move. Cramer calls it 3rd best value stock of 07, stock doesn't move. KBR spin off coming in April, stock doesn't move. Hopefully soon this one finally catches fire, and goes to a proper multiple.
GDP Up, Inflation Down: This Is Going To Be Interesting [View article]
How do you see this effecting the financials specifically? Shouldn't they be getting a giant boost from this news? If there is no chance of a rate hike anytime soon?

I know Cramer like JNJ. He has mentioned it many times on his show. cramersez.com or thestreet.com have his references to this stock and many others listed on them.
MasterCard's Story Continues To Impress [View article]
Two reasons why I like this stock. 1st Congress is after the credit card companies, so you know they are making big money! Also, the senate is to even between dems/reps for them to do anything. 2nd, Cramer has said (cramersez.com or thestreet.com) that this stock is the best performer he has seen since Microsoft was hot. Glad I'm in, and staying long.
Time vs. Risk on Sears: The Inverse Relationship [View article]
I like Eddie, I like this becoming another BH, though obviously have no dreams of a $100000 stock oneday. I think Eddie can continue to produce great numbers, and this stock runs. The day eddie leaves, is the day I sell. cramersez.com and thestreet.com are two good sites, if you like Cramer's thoughts on this or other stocks. I use Cramer as a resource whenever pulling the trigger on a stock.
