DID SIRI go back to 56 again last week? Was I dreaming? It was not a fire sale. It turned out to be a slow back slide. But, down is down... In a normal market, I believe it would have been a fire sale. SIRI is controlled and heavily manipulated. Debatable...
I remain bearish. The delisting and rev-split are issues that could cause a free fall at any time... Or Not...
Disclosure: ZERO STOCK I sold everything on Friday with modest gains. Put it all in the FOREX so the bears can growl without me… Tip – stay out of dollar pegged…
The Street is calling a full market TOP. Saying go cash and short. Very scarrrrry....
Market Top! Go Short! Market commentator Peter Navarro calls a market top based on both technical indicators and macroeconomic fundamentals and offers a variety of short-selling strategies. In an update to an earlier video, he also argues that the time is ripe to short PALM.
Yes Pell, I see your point and definition. High Speed Computer Trading is a very bad form of day trade. When used by brokerage houses who pay no commission it is a very unfair advantage.
But, I am not against normal order placing day trades. Allot can happen in a day. The playground is fair when everyone can do the same...
I have no agenda against SIRI or Mel. My opinion is very bearish on SIRI only because of the history and true current condition of the company.
I have an agenda of true reporting, fair representation, and to stop manipulation. But that is it.
As a religion, I do not work Options trades because shorting is not fair under the current US Laws. I do not short and I practice everything I preach...
When (and I hope for when) SIRI becomes investible again, I will be the bull again. Maybe SIRI will look better after the rev-split and the 1Q2010 report.
Pell I don't see how anyone could consider High Speed Trading the same as day trade. It is not fair when a brokerage house can trade with a computer and NOT pay any commission on each trade.
From 9:30 to 11:AM some broker could have (probably did) make $10,000.00 with a computer trading 6M shares for a spread of 0.0012 cents. And they paid NO COMMISSION on hundreds of 3 to 50 share trades...
Activity like that would have cost me over $50,000 in commission for 2 hours of high speed trading. But they do it for free... COMPLAIN to the SEC...
Update Sec Investigation request - High Speed Computer Trading I just received a phone call from SEC investigators (Names can’t be disclosed here). I was asked a few questions.
I was informed as follows:
-The SEC is investigating High Speed Computer Manipulation but they can not give any information. -They are glad to receive all reports. They like spot traceable reports. -They will not tell you if your report is being investigated.
I informed them that few people will pay commission to buy or sell 3 shares. Only a brokerage house could buy and sell 3 to 50 shares hundreds of times a day to collect a .001 cent margin. They agreed on the phone that it does look strange. They also agree that 6M share in 2 hours today at .5801 to .0812 was very strange. I informed them of how this has been happening periodically for months.
OTHER SHOULD COMPLAIN - High Speed Computer Trading is a bad thing…. This is killing me... Pay over 114.00 to tie up your cell phone. But, you can buy a dedicated SAT radio for 69.00... It only works on XM... What a bad joke!!!

Sitting out now only because of the rev-split issue. But, I would be working the spread. Day trading SIRI is why I am still here.
Note: I was holding SIRI day trades for just hours or for up to 8 days. Sometimes it take more than 1 day...
