  • The Ultimate Guide To Wind Power Investing [View article]
    From an environmental perspective:
Most alternate energy sources also have lower carbon emissions, compared to conventional energy sources. Wind or turbine energy is a natural resource that can be renewed while avoiding to diminish our fossil fuels. The issue begins with consumers using fossil fuels as if there is an unlimited resource, which we all know is false. But there aren't many other options now are there? In the meantime, gas companies are taking advantage of consumer wallets.
Why don't we make use of something that will always be there..THE SUN! Like you mentioned early on, wind energy is also a product of the sun causing uneven heating of the atmosphere. The stronger the irregularities of heat and rotation of the earth, the stronger the wind will be. Of course wind flow patterns vary across the globe depending on terrains and natures characteristics but the best part is that its FREE. Nothing beats free.

If the United States is serious about there recent interest in becoming less dependent on foreign countries to obtain a means of energy, then wind energy is a priority. It has proven to be a reliable sources of energy and has the potential to produce much more energy than is being harvested today.
In short, great articles, and I agree with your premises and am a big fan of the wind movement. Its a shame most of these companies are foreign, shame on the fact there are few ETF's. However, take a look at our SmallCap Network for more input on other types of small cap alternative resources.
