I'm an investor who has become disillusioned by the advice of so called advisers. In Nov. of 2012 I had my entire retirement portfolio changed to "self directed" and in a year have realized a 76/77% increase in it's value. This increase I attribute mainly to Seeking Alpha, It's contributors and comments from users. With this said, I am by no means, a "professional" investor, adviser or analyst as such. I am however a person with strong analytical skills, and pride myself with my ability to see the forest in spite of the trees. As a contributor on Seeking Alpha, my aim is merely to offer my perspectives on stocks of interest without being mired down strictly by the numbers/fundamentals.
