I a math phd working as an academic researcher in computational biology, moonlighting as a personal investor to make up for all that money in industry I'm not getting. I believe in ethical investment, ethical entrepreneurship, and collective action solutions. I think the current economic crisis in the USA is largely due to the bloated ego of the American citizen, perhaps even more than government fiscal policy. It's time for us Americans to curb our wasteful excess, and start exporting to help pay off the national debt.
