  • Apple's Fall: Why It's A Buy [View article]
It seems very wise that you framed the stock as a value stock. It truly is, with fantastic margins and value. What the company is now clearly lacking is any real, organic growth. The attempts made recently have accomplished nothing appreciable to grow top or bottom lines and I don't know of anything worthwhile in the pipeline to generate growth.
Does anyone have any contrary thoughts as it pertains to future growth prospects?

  • A New High-Dividend Stock Yielding 10%-Plus, Will Grow Dividends By 10% And EBITDA By 18% [View article]
Thank you Chris. So, if I'm reading you right, there's likely further downside before a possible bounce/rebound in price. Am I correct and is there any news I should be looking for in order that I might be able to expect the price to stabilize?

  • Why Is The House Of Saud Allowing Oil Prices To Fall? [View article]
Well written and well reasoned. I hope you'll put out an article when SAMA takes those large positions. As a side note, you mean "their budget".
I think I'll go look for some support levels in those stocks!

  • This Outperforming Market Leader Has 4 High Dividend Stocks Going Ex-Dividend This Week [View article]
Good article. Why would these preferreds with a nice yields of a company that is quite financially stable be selling for less than par?

  • This High-Dividend Stock Has 17 Straight Dividend Hikes And Yields 8%-Plus [View article]
Just a cursory look at the financials tells me that this company can't cover its annual dividend. Am I missing something?

  • Will The Fed Tapering Help The mREITs? Well, It Depends [View article]
I suspect that some type of crisis or other reason to keep interest rates low will *suddenly* arise in the next couple months. I don't think anyone expects the new "Federal" Reserve chief to start raising interest rates any time soon, especially not if it is Yellen. We have been and continue to be on track to follow Japan's lead, with less than a 20 year lag.

  • Pitney Bowes: Is The Time To Buy Near? [View article]
It seems to me that you have a great stock *IF* it will continue to pay the dividend for the next several years. If so, you seem to have a good candidate. In reality, I think you want at least 5 more years at this rate, minimum. Can it pull that off?

  • Wal-Mart: Add This Retailer Now For Your Retirement Portfolio [View article]
Considering that the stock has moved up 50% with no correction, I am also in the camp that I'd rather sell puts, though I can't get enough premium on the puts at a stock price that is more reasonable. The weekly and monthly charts tell me that 62.50 is a nice support area. Dec and Jan puts at 62.50 are only paying around 50 - 60 cents, though it should be essentially free money.

  • Chesapeake Energy: At Least 50% Upside Potential [View article]
As long as CHK is run by McClendon, its symbol should be ABC --> Anything But Chesapeake. Based on the chart of stock performance, it appears that only EOG has a decent performance record. With management what it is, you can only expect to continue to be cheated by the company.

  • Chesapeake Energy: A Long-Term Play On Natural Gas As An Automotive Fuel [View article]
I'd rather see a different play, one that doesn't have Aubrey "margin to the hilt" McClendon at the helm. There must be a similar company with less fraudulent management. Who is it?

I agree that this needs to be done in this country, asap!
