  • 4 Reasons Why We Are Still In A Bear Market [View article]
Eric, thank you for all your good work. I agree with you, and all your points about a bear market. However it is hard to sit on the sidelines and watch the market go through the roof. I was tempted to put my toe in the water and pick up some stocks, yes I know it is late in the rally. You will know the market top, just when I get in, always happens. So I was looking to enter the market, on some quality growth and blue chip stocks, however under investigation in every case, very heavy insider selling. Pulled back from the water, am going to watch a movie instead, not to be temped. Just backs up your premises

you are with the insiders, even though there is heavy selling by many insiders of many other stocks. Alaways like when management backs up their opinion with their own $$$$$$$

  • The Fed's Betrayal Of The Middle Class [View instapost]
Joseph, great article. I recommend to anyone who is interested in the FED to read " The Creature from Jeckyll Island". that goes into the history of central banks in the USA. I am not a conspiracy guy, but the book makes many irrefutable points. I hesitate to discuss this topic, since at the last financial form where this was discussed it brought out the extremists, and somebody brought out "The Elders of Zion". Does not mean that there is not a self serving cabal between members of the elites and central bankers.

PS I think you may have kicked over a hornets nest.

Good work and a happy new year

IT thanks for writing. The way I see it as a parting shot. This will not effect the economy in any way in the near future. As going forward any business plan has to take that interest rates will be going up, even if they go down by 50% from where they are, it only effects speculators, margins and derivatives. If I am building a plant or business for the next 5-10 years whether interest rates are at 2 or 3 percent should be baked into the cake. There is no real sign of inflation or increase in money velocity, thus I do not see this as a change in policy. As you say it is all market dependent. Let us see how well the economy fares as new taxes kick in, and the full effect of oybamacare starts to bite. The market went into a buying spree, and gold reacted like good times are here again. So let us wait and see

Looking forward to more input from you as this plays out

IT, so how does this work out for me as I am long PPP, Sand and BRG. Just kidding, should be good as consolidation is a good thing in this market. Strong balance sheets will scoop up good juniors. Thanks good article

  • Why The History Of Fed Politics Makes Janet Yellen's Playbook Predictable [View article]
Nicholas, great insight, she cannot taper any time soon, but when you get excessive exuberance.......... who knows. Never saw what you showed, very interesting. Expecting a blow off before oybama leaves office

  • The Fed Creates A New Germany Out Of Thin Air [View article]
JB well done, great analogy.Inflation is the only way out, how else could you get out of this mess. Anybody with a better answer, I am waiting. Playing this market is even more dangerous due to manipulations and fabrications. I started a business in 1980 at 15 % interest, but persisted because I knew that I could make money, but now at 3% no thanks. THAT IS THE PROBLEM

MH, well done. I do not expect any tapering any time soon. We are in deflationary recession, and demand keeps falling. So why would anybody borrow $$$ to invest in a project unless it can create consumer demand, and profits

IT......completely agree, Fed will not taper for at least a year. when oybamacare kicks in, and people find out what they got, growth will be the last thing happening. It is a massive tax increase, and a job destroyer at the same time.
