  • S&P Case Shiller's Home Price Index Concerns Me [View article]
This is rediculous. That bailout money is being returned to the govt. If they gave money they borrowed from China to peeps with mortgages they'd never get it back. And banks wouldn't make their interest on the loans. Plus what message does this send to irresponsible borrowers!

  • The Destruction of the Dollar: It's Nearly Inevitable [View article]
Our government and people have been digging our own hole for decades with debt and low taxes. We should stop taking advatage of our neighbors that lend to us. Eventually we are going to be buried permanantlty in our big hole.

  • Today in Commodities: What a Difference a Day Makes [View article]
It's profit taking, end of year a lot of people are up massive gains and taking off a little on the upsides. I mean when you are up over 100-200% in less than a year think about it! I've been trimming on the upswings and that strategy worked great today.

  • Economy Watch: Is There a (Second) Downturn on the Horizon? [View article]
I really doubt that will happen, mainly because things are already bad, and trending still to the downside, but just at a slower pace. The reality is we're still in the first recession and the real economy needs time to start moving again. It will, but it will take more time. The permabears just need to chill out, people are really sick of this recession and are not going to take much more of it.

  • Brazil: Better than a Bubble [View article]
Expensive? Uh, don't think so. EWZ trades around 14 PE. That is not expensive with 9% GDP growth. Brazil is cheap, and it never should have gone down as much as it did. At least 50% of the return this year was just a correction from the freak-out lows we had.

  • Getting Technical: The Humpy Pattern Thesis Lives On [View article]
Something to remember, at least half of the rally since March was a correction from the crazy lows we had. Flip your charts upside down and draw the technicals that way to see.

  • Cramer's Mad Money - The Correction Is upon Us (10/28/09) [View article]
Cramer said about 3 weeks ago we'd have a small correction at 1100 S&P which I was also thinking, now he states the market is done for the year. What a dumbass! I love this guy, but I also hate him. Nobody can predict the market for the next 2 months.

  • Homebuyer Tax Credit: The Moneypit Is Alive and Well [View article]
Yha the 8 Gs essentially pays for closing and moving costs, which does not really add any equity to your home. It lures in buyers though and that is what it is for. It does the trick, but only for so long. It gives us homeowners a chance to get the F out and go rent! It would be great if the govt. could start creating some damn jobs instead. Jobs will fix just about every problem we have right now.

  • Traders Intuition: Market Euphoria About to Come Crashing Down  [View article]
I predict November to be a big pullback, it started several days ago; we are in a correction right now.

  • A Deeper Look at the Housing Data [View article]
Well, if they extend that credit it'll be a good oportunuity for us homeowners to get the f--- out while we still can and breathe freely while we rent.

  • Housing Starts Flatline [View article]
The housing market is something you have to look at by region or city. Some places bottomed long ago or are already at bottom. Some are not. I don't feel the national stats ever really make much sense to look at. I think we all know the govt. will create some type of extension to the buyer incentive. Hopefully extend it to all buyers this time. Either way. it's not ending in December, you can count on that.

  • Banks Are Behind the Rally [View article]
Then howcome none of the bank stocks are going up anymore. Seems they just tread water. I'd say emerging markets are behind the rally.

  • Still Concerned About Tone of Market's Advance [View article]
I agree completely. The S&P at 1100 is a major wall in this market. A pullback is coming probably by early November.

  • U.S. Government Squanders 'Trust Funds' [View article]
This author is a total conspiracy theorist, as well as most of his followers. It is easy to make up these rediculous stories when you cannot prove any of it and don't have to face the people who really know the facts and try to convince them of your theories, but it's really easy writing dumb web articles about it. I beleive there is a mental illness associated with the stuff this author and followers are suffering from. BTW Jeff, your photo makes you look like a child molester, you should get a new one.
