    Hi James,
    The prospects are promising, but the rate of cash burn is very high. They seem to finance it mainly by issuing new shares, so expect significant dilution.

    This is a good proposal. However, as noted, US politicians are not likely to allow Chinese ownership of US infrastructure. A possible solution is for the Chinese to lend to infrastructure companies in the US. State and Local authorities can initiate such projects by awarding US companies the rights to pursue such projects, with rights to the revenue streams they generate.
    These future revenue streams can then be used as collateral for borrowing from China.
    As these are off budget items, they are not as likely to inflame
    Tea party followers. As well, they would not involve direct Chinese ownership of critical US infrastructure.
