I don't think anyone has a greater motivation to announce some sales than management. Some investors, including me, have an overweight, perhaps obese, position in a speculative passive investment. For management, this is their day, night and weekend job.

Axion has a component that does crazy cool things. No one can match it. A customer comes by and says they want to but some, but only if they agree not to tell the world what the component's characteristics are. Oh, and it will be years before they can start buying it for themselves. ...

I am not aware that there are battery companies lined up to build pbc. But the vision all along is that electrodes could be provided to battery manufacturing companies to build the end product using their existing production lines. My speculation is that if a major European OEM is to use Axion PBC, there will be a pbc electrode line built in the region of the battery assembly plant. If a stock sale to raise cash is complex, imagine how complicated an agreement an OEM would require to spend a $Billion developing a vehicle around a technology owned by a microcap,

Here's my spin: 1. The inventory build up in the 4th quarter of 2012 has been turned into cash. 2. Staffing has been sized to the current needs. 3. Bang is living in a trailer powered off the power cube, responding to RFP's and being paid on commission in shares.

Yahoo lists revenue for ZBB at $7M. It's in a growth phase, so I'd expect the current revenue to be much higher. It's usually easier for a company to sell into their home market. So, if ZBB's growth is coming from outside the US, that implies the other markets are ahead in making actual purchases, at least for zinc bromide.

I expect that there is quite a bit of co2 releases with building a Nuke plant and mining, refining and long-term storage of fuel. I don't expect that the carbon comparisons we hear about with Nuclear power includes these estimates.

That link has something I have not heard before that points to our our favorite solution. There may be quite a few gen 1 LABs that could use upgrading.
Discussing Ultra-capacitors on wind generators: "...they use them to power the blade pitch adjusting motors. They have gone to ultra-capacitors over lead-acid batteries because of cycle life and cold temperature problems. They are used primarily to “feather” the blades, when the wind speed gets too high. The batteries needed replacement every 18-24 months. With ultra-capacitors, it’s a 15-20-year application."

The average age of cars on US roads is almost 11 years, and the median is close to 14 years.
I live in the south. The average high is 98 and the low it commonly above 80F. In the summer, I can turn off my water heater in the garage and have plenty of how water for 2 people. I don't think it ever gets down to 86. Working folks need to leave a car in parking lot in full sun every work day with ambient 100F.

It's always a problem if you rely on Government. Why should a rail company reduce diesel emission now when the program may be put on hold. If they wait they can reduce it later from a bigger base level, and maybe get paid to do it. Not to mention coal shipments are down, and perhaps capital budgets have been reduced proportionally more. We're all counting the days, NS is counting the years.

<sarcasm>And while you're at it, you should ask anyone who thinks they might buy a battery sometime in the future to send the money now. Do they take paypal? </sarcasm> I can't see any other company besides Tesla getting away with this.
You can't see the terms of service until you pay. If you bought the smallest battery, they install a larger one, but will only activate it for a fee. Tesla is a software company. It even started in the grand tradition of vaporware.

Also on page 38, their option price is $1.5. I think it's reasonable to assume that the vast majority of shareholders have a much lower average price than that. The people making the decisions do not have any incentive to let the price flounder.
