My investment strategy is simple: Capital Preservation and Risk Aversion. All stats and company statements are suspect. The financial media wants to sell advertising. Analysts are merely puppets practicing pump and dump on macro scales. Beware being consumed by security analysis which leads to ignorance of macro events that can and do alter entire countries' standings. Take advantage of the markets only when stupidity and speculation are rampant, but remain true to my two principle strategies.
