I'm the owner and asset manager for Rising Sun Real Estate Group, LLC in Phoenix, Arizona. I've been a full-time real estate investor since 2001. During that time I managed a $16 million residential real estate portfolio in Phoenix, Chicago and Austin, Texas. Currently my group is purchasing distressed real estate in Maricopa County, Arizona and reselling the portfolio on the retail market. I'm also working with a Kansas City attorney on the formation of a private equity fund that will be used to capitalize our acquisition and repair costs.
