What did mgmt say in regards to the comment about acquired or partnership? I missed that. Was it in the Q and A? " management confirmed they are in talks now to either be acquired or nail partnership with big pharma 2H2013 for Anchor."

User666. Afrezza has the benefit of being an ultra fast insulin with an onset of 12 minutes and most of it out of your system in 45 minutes. This means a diabetic can avoid lows. Afrezza is not just an Inhalable insulin as you think. No tails ends and reduced lows on Afrezza. The fact that you inhale it is just a convenience. I put 30,000 needles in my stomach in my life time so you must not be a diabetic. Before you comment again on who wants to inhale or stick needles in your stomach thing again.

up 30% on latest round of calls I bought..Over 40,000 share position now with calls (all leaps)

My take is that today Irish is giving Irish a hand before a realistic offer is made not by Elan but by someone else. Only time will tell. You cant make a 25 offer for a $7 stock but you can for a $10-$12 stock.

Ill take $17 with $4 for NCE and another $6 for anchor. It would be like 3 pay checks.

    Adam just tweeted this

    "Adam Feuerstein ‏@adamfeuerstein 20m
SummerStreet on $AMRN: "We stand by yesterday’s comments and state our story is accurate.""

    AMRN must take action......

I respectfully disagree on kudos to Adam part. Adam Feuerstein has been involved in slandering and miss reporting key facts regarding AMRN and this was not the first time. He likes to hide under comments such as "a source" or whatever. He coordinates attacks with writers that he has been linked with for years. All you have to do is google Adam Feuerstein and any articles writers name that has bashed Amrn and you will see them bashing the same stocks and re-tweeting each other. Adam knows what he is doing and its not a coincidence. I and many others sent serious complaints to AMRN first thing in the morning and I am glad finally this nonsense is starting to get exposed. AMRN must press charges and not let these idiots get awway with what they are doing.

Perhaps they did not walk away but got priced out by others. When OMTH went public weeks ago did that mean nobody was interested in them? No...For all we know there is a bidding war and azn got priced out.

Bought more $10 strikes today. I love pain! I sometimes wonder if there is a battle going on behind the scenes and AZN dropped out. OMTH went public recently and certainly they would have held off if buyout discussion were serious. So it seems AZN changed direction recently for a reason. Maybe its wishful thinking but the only thing that makes sense to me at this point.

Good luck EXP456. By the sound of your 1st post on AMRN back in January I am shocked you stayed in it so long as negative as you were. You wonder why someone would be so negative questioning everything and stay a long. Good luck to you. Maybe you can put your money in MNKD as you see patience pays off. All in on MNKD and AMRN here.

  • Amarin: The Bull Argument (Or How I Learned To Stop Worrying And Love Vascepa) [View article]
    Adam,

You know that with an 8% weekly growth rate till the end of the year revenues would be over 100 million. You might need to buy a new calculator. I don't think you understand compound growth rate. lol

The fact is Vascepa will not grow even at a 13% rate week over week for the rest of the year as that would be over $450 million revenue. If Vascepa grows at 8% week over week for the rest of 2013 and less than 2% week over week in 2014 that would be over $300 million in revenue in 2014. So when is your next bash article coming out. There is a rumor it is coming tomorrow or Thursday.

  • The Price May Be Increasing For An Amarin Buyout [View article]
wow ...what you do? Cover short and go long?

I agree with most of what you said accept that we need anchor approval for $30 which is really the case. The truth is nobody really knows what BP is willing to pay once one of them jump.

  • Why I'm Adding To My Amarin Short Position [View article]
Generics? Really? I thought Vascepa is just fish oil so please explain why any company would make a generic. There is no demand for Vascepa remember? Its just fish oil which you can buy at your grocery store. The naysayers provided the same exact arguments years ago on whats no called Lovaza and fell flat on the face after the drug moved to number 51 on the sales list. If you recall we even had articles by Adam telling us that demand in the industry is done. Its funny how you guys try to play all the angles and end up contradicting yourselves. Lovaza has only one patents left and all exclusivity has expired yet still a 1 billion dollar drug a year. Amrn has captured 3% of the market based on Lovazas sales in 10 weeks. So tell me how will it look 6 months from now. Will you please put down the number of weekly scripts! You think AMRN should grow over 15% week over week for the rest of the year? Do you realize that would be about 10 billion in sales! Simple math....No company continues to grow 15% week over week. Tell us something we dont know.
