  • A report by federal investigators says Exxon Mobil (XOM) could have reduced the amount of oil spilled after a July 2011 Montana pipeline rupture if it had taken faster action. The report says the volume of the 1,500-barrel spill into the Yellowstone River would have been far less if upstream valves were immediately closed, according to the AP. [View news story]

    By implementing the practice of love and compassion, we will naturally live a non-violent way of life. Helping others and not harming them is the work of non-violence. We need to develop love, compassion and forgiveness to develop inner peace and that naturally gives rise to non-violent conduct.Chasing the allmighty dollar is the wrong path. One wonder how deals are being designed, developed and then sold among the rich to become even more richer.

    Wrong conclusion! I worked for ExxonMobil for many years. They are well organized and appoint a succesor that is an equal or better.
