  • Why I'm Short So Many Financials [View article]
Shorting the financials is absolutely moronic due to the government backstop. Good luck fighting the trend.

  • Four Reasons We're Headed Even Higher [View article]
The guy came out with many gutsy calls, got flamed for them and make a bucket of money and you didn't.

    Yeah I'd follow that.

  • Four Reasons We're Headed Even Higher [View article]
Since Jason is the one who nailed the BAC calls consistantly making tons of money, while most of the moronic 'top 10' commentors on this site were the same ones who missed the rally, it's clear who deserves more respect.

It's all about making money, pride is for fools.

  • Consider Bank of America Covered Calls [View article]
Buffett really meant buy 'quality' in times of fear which BAC unfortunately no longer is. That said there's a huge government backstop so it'll probably work out provided you call still resell ITM calls again in Feb.

I prefer to sell puts instead on quality companies since they are quite lucrative.

  • The Bank of America Bug  [View article]
They had 6 months access to the books to decide to dump CFC. Either they are just ignoring the 'asbestos' or it's actually a good deal.

  • Time To Start Buying Some Dogs? [View article]
    The other commentor is right.

The whole point of the dogs of the dow is to take picking out of the equation. You buy all the warts and the idea is that you do well because turn arounds happen in spite of your emotions. If you are going to use your emotions and opinions, change the title.

  • Will the Dollar Recovery Launch a Bank Rally? [View article]
Very nice article - few writers want to stick their head out and be contrarian on anything but the negative.

    Thanks

  • Expect BofA's Dividend To Be Cut  [View article]
There's been plenty of reasons for a cut since last August. Will it be cut now, 2 months from now or next year, who knows?

Maybe I should ramble on about speculation based well known info and publish it in SeekingAlpha like this author.

  • The 20 Highest Yielding Dividend Aristocrats [View article]
It's just a list and like any list it's full of some bad picks

There are plenty of good ones on it though(and some not on it).
It's not an opinion piece nor does it try to be. I'm not sure what the uproar is. There's plenty of worst crap to comment on.

  • Bank of America: Smarter Than We Think? [View article]
The Real Expert - You didn't read what I wrote carefully enough. I said I sell covered calls and I 'repurchased' as in buying back the calls I sold to close out the contract.

I didn't see the point in waiting till Jan 09 for the calls I sold at far higher prices to go from .05 to 0 when I can reseller lower strike prices.

    Get it now smart guy?

  • Bank of America: Smarter Than We Think? [View article]
Donald E. L. Johnson - intesting summary of the recent opinions of BAC on your site.

I already sell covered calls on all stocks I own and recently repurchased my $55 calls for .05 so I can re-sell a lower strike for some decent money.

For weeks now it's a been a true definition of a falling knife. Doug Kass is calling it capitulation.

I am also long and wouldn't be suprised to see 25.

'He might even send parts of Countrywide into bankruptcy' - That would interesting, I'd like to see how it could work.
