Where Have All the Value Investments Gone?

You win the award for the most pessimistic article I have ever read. Being a Buffett disicple myself, I can identify with you unlike the rest of the permabears out there busy calling themselves geniuses and basking in their ego.

You make some great points and you are correct, it is at least slightly different this time. I expect an L recovery for a while with a return to 15000 2 years from now. I will be a net buyer of stocks for the next 5 years at least so even ending up at 8000 3 years from now is actually a benefit for me.

Sounds like you've really given up on equities after 20 years and it's sad but I won't follow you. This relentless bear has taught me so much and I'm thankful for it.

A few examples:

1)I now refuse to buy stocks but only will do so through assignments of sold puts when the account allows it.
2) Bearish call selling that would produce a profit of even 7% in 6 months if called is just fine with me.
3) Quality is #1 - Buffett was so correct when he said that you only know who's naked when the tide goes out

Through all this I've been able to keep my losses at less than 20% which I consider a win given the environment.

Since this article doesn't even mention MSFT, Thomas has just found another place to say that MSFT sucks for absolutely no reason.

Have you use it before or is this like your other posts, unsubstantiated and meaningless?
