Should have waited to get the real facts before writing an article that has the potential to embarrass you subsequently.

  • In Defense Of Apple: Battling The Mounting Hysteria [View article]
Thanks for a greatly needed article. You spent a lot of time dissecting the numbers from the CC and did an excellent job putting it together. Very impressive.

The dust will settle and sensibility will return soon and begin to push the stock higher, simply based on other analyst recognizing the robust numbers you supplied. Although I agree that Apple management is in the spotlight and needs to energize investors, I still have faith that they will outperform and this time next year Apple shareholders will be glad that they own a piece of Apple. Thanks again.

  • Wall Street Breakfast: White House To Unveil Fracking Rules [View article]
Guys before you get too excited note that the ban is for FEDERAL property only. Which is not stated above.

I personally have no issue with horizontal fracking if done right. When not done right, it CAN & HAS polluted the air. Also, some well based accidents have pollotued water & soil. Problem is to regulate to ensure that its done right has to be extremely expensive on both energy corps & taxpayer.

IMO, local residents should be part of the decision making process as they pay local taxes & are most impacted (positively/negatively).

  • Apple's Upcoming Earnings Beat [View article]
    Enjoyed article, thanks.

Happy.... Your comments on most Apple articles don't offer any new information as you continue to be negative without providing any info that may help others. Good luck with whatever you are investing in.

  • Another Day, Another Crack In Apple's Wall [View article]
    Crack 1 - sold 2m in 3 days - a record (only sold 2.1m 4s in 3 qtr)

Crack 2 - patent dispute - BIG DEAL, immaterial vs earnings

Crack 3 - margins still above estimates

Crack 4 - been hearing about subsidies for 4 years (look what Apple did for telecoms, Sprint, VZ)

Crack 5 - Apple continues to destroy competition in tablet space. Just put competition plastic against iPad. Customers are not stupid. Also plenty of growth for more than 1 company.

Crack 6 - how good is lumina 920 selling? Did you crown it king before birth? Remember, it has msft software. Wow only crack is the one in msft for last 15 years. How is NOK doing for you ytd?

Crack 7 - technical crack, valid until shorts are forced out by, believe or not, good news or even perhaps great earnings. We will see.

Better be ready to reverse your appl trade cause the cracks are not visible as they do not exists at this time.

QCOM should be much higher than it is. Management is underperforming. Be careful, oh, forgot you guy buy one day and sell 1-2 days later for, in some cases, a 1-3%er if lucky. Good luck to all.

  • Investors Can't Believe The Apple Hype [View article]
    Thanks for your article.

As an investor, at this point, I will only sell AAPL to keep the percentage level within my comfort zone. Also, I've always thought Mr Cook was and is a much better CEO than most commenters. Watched his recent interview & I believe more than before that he is a great CEO.

  • Apple's Retail Headache [View article]
I have been in the Apple store near where i live approximately 20 times in the last year. Not once did I see an employee display anything but superior attitude and excellent customer service. No other retailer that I know provides not only excellent service but very professional behavior.

Also, they may make 25k annually (I have no clue) but they are also on the insurance plan, profit sharing and do have the ability to share in stock options. I would also say 25-30% are 50+ in age and if you have to pay for individual insurance, like me, at that age for 2, I would estimate that equals to 15-20k annually. At least they don't play the WMT game of mostly part timers.

Finally, many many talented retail upper management people out there. I suspect that they will find a very good one.

Go to an Apple store and see for yourself the kind of service and excellent attitude on the floor. I would also say that from a retail perspective, a job at a Apple store is highly desirable for most.
