  • Why China Cannot Be Apple's No.1 Market [View article]
China Mobile customer base is +700m making it to largest operator globally. It would be a great mistake to assume Apple don't want to sell its products through CM.

Good article, like the way author bashes analysts, who have opinions often not well researched or based on facts

  • Why China Cannot Be Apple's No.1 Market [View article]
China Mobile has a contract with Nokia. Apparently Nokia Lumia phones are selling well in China.

Apple needs to develop technology to be able to get a contract with China Mobile. Up to know Apple has not been able to offer products that would work in CM networks.

Apple also would need to introduce products in lower price points, I don't see this happening anytime soon. same applies to many other emerging markets. if you want to bet on those markets, Nokia stock is a much better choice.

  • 'Bye, Bye, Nokia' Or 'Buy, Buy, Nokia'? [View article]
I like the way this article is being put together. I am very bullish on Nokia, if company was to be split today its parts are definitely worth more than share price today. Now the question why is share price not reflecting the true value of the company? Are short sellers pushing it far too low and if so how long can this go on? Eventually someone is going to bid if share price is too low.

Latest news about patent case against Anroid OS producers: would it not be cheaper for Google & co to buy Nokia ( and get all its patents) instead of risking endless legal battles where in the end royalties will flow to Nokia ?

  • Nokia's Turnaround Will Continue [View article]
Nokia's has 78 % market share of WP OS globally, what will be Nokia's share of WP phones in China is still unknown.

Nokia is not going to disappear, however smartphone sales is a wild card. if Lumia range get traction stock will fly. We will soon get Q1 figures and it will be easier to judge from there

  • Short Interest For Nokia Is At An All-Time High [View article]
    Good stuff as usual.
I think Nokia is even more shorted: In Helsinki alone 11 % of the stock is sold short. And this figure includes only positions exceeding 0,5 % of total number of stocks

  • Microsoft: More Evidence That Windows Phone 8 Is A Great Success [View article]
Looking forward WP8 sales to increase, this should take $NOK stock to new level when Lumia finally gets traction. Nokia has almost 80 % of the WP8 market so should profit from this. Launch of new Lumia models in many key markets should be visible in Q1 figures. As guidance was very low I expect Nokia to upgrade their Q1 guidance in coming weeks before Q1 release on April 18th

  • Once Again, Nokia Gets Downgraded By Goldman Sachs [View article]
I like to read sound analysis like this. GS is talking stock down to add more. Do the opposite they tell you to and you will be just fine.

  • Nokia A Buy On Sum Of Parts Valuation [View article]
Thank you for revised valuation. Some points of concern already mentioned in other comments. Bottom lime is: Nokia is cheap at current stock price. I see a lot of upside here, if Lumia volumes take off as it now looks like , stock will double or triple this year

  • Think Twice Before Betting On Nokia At Current Price - Part 2 [View article]
This is probably worse than part 1 which was not worth reading. I don't understand what you are trying to tell us. This "analysis" describes past. Now we are interested in the future, what happened yesterday is yesterday and does not have any impact on stock price of today or tomorrow.. Tell us something we don't know and you will get our respect. As an investor I am interested in valuation estimates of the stock based on of future . Don't bother to write part 3.

  • Nokia Will Gain From A Focus On Developing Economies [View article]
Nokia is everywhere and in every price point. It can well compete with Apple and Samsung with current product portfolio. In addition to apple it can also cover developing world at any price point from top to bottom. After restructuring it is very lean and any pick up in sales will improve its bottom line considerably. The beauty of Nokia is that it is now well positioned in almost all markets with a cost base that is much lower than it used to be. Go and buy the stock today , it will be more expensive tomorrow

  • Nokia Is Connecting The Next Billion People [View article]
    @inves..
dividend cut was expected, India tax case is BS, will not have an impact, supply issues are mostly solved now

If news about 2m Lumias sold in China between Dec & March are true Nokia must raise guidance for Q1 before announcing results in April.

Nokia is a strong buy at these levels
