  • Vanguard Natural Resources - Is The Distribution Safe? [View article]
There is a paradigm shift of difference between LINE and VNR, based on management.
LINE's management is inept. That's why I've owned VNR since they paid 33% and the hedge funds had shorted them almost out of existence. Good, solid management wins. LINE has always had dicey hands at the helm. VNR doesn't. End of story.

  • The Fed Has Brains - Cramer's Mad Money (6/17/15) [View article]
I love Cramer. He is almost 100% wrong on every call. If you do the opposite of what he says, you'll be a billionaire. Check out what Jon Stewart did to Jim Blowhard on his show, with all the numbers!

B machine charges between $0.50 and $1.50 per single person serving. Even the 1% won't buy this counter-hog.

  • Everything's Coming Up SodaStream [View article]
Keurig is DOA. Just as I predicted months ago. The market has begun to assimilate this judgement, and the stock has just begun to plummet. Let's give the quants 24 hours to program in a buy on SODA. (You can fuss at me if I'm wrong, but those quants don't work so fast on Mondays.)

  • Big Trouble Ahead For Craft Brew Alliance Stock? [View article]
This article is mindless. If BREW has "the same problems as SAM" then this is a massive BUY recommendation. How the author can skew it as a negative is beyond reason. Proof: Look at the SAM chart for 1, 2, or 3 years. Look at BREW today. My take: Room to move!

  • SodaStream's Price Is Cheap, But Does It Have Value? [View article]
I remember "Fizzies". GMCR looks to be working the same territory. My prediction: GMCR is Coke (and Warren Buffet"s) most colossal blunder. Indicator: no visible patents for GMCR. If it's good, why can't they patent it? If it's horrible, they want to conceal it as long as possible so insiders can cash out of the about-to-be flaming wreckage. (see GMCR valuation)

  • SodaStream Troubles Worse Than Previously Thought [View article]
I'm a long-time SodaStream satisfied customer (due diligence). The machine is sturdy, easy-to-use and environmentally popular at all my dinner parties with Wall-street couples. A couple of points nobody has made:
    1. Green Mountain is climbing a big mountain. Making single serve carbonated beverages is a heck of a lot harder than making single serve cups of coffee. They know how to do the latter, they haven't a clue about the former. Imagine this scenario (not too far fetched): GMCR debuts their pricey, pretty machine. OK, the target market is the 1% who already pay them $1 per cup for their crap coffee. BUT the soda tastes terrible! Reviews pile in. Please think about what that means for SODA.
    2. Yes, SODA management has to go to school to learn communications skills. They have blown several calls, but their strategic direction is Apple-worthy: drop what doesn't work, maximize margins on what does, and change strategy to reflect user interests. (There have been several news articles about SODA cartridge sales in trend-setting Brooklyn, NY.).
That's my story, and I'm stickin to it.

  • Vanguard Natural Resources: Why I Don't Care About The Distribution Cut At All [View article]
I agree with "amused". The termination of those 3-way collars is a great relief. Now, we just have to wait until some 1% high paid analyst looks out the window and realizes that the cold weather is going to raise the price of natural gas, and we'll see some real VNR movement. It's a GAS company!

Cramer is a "black hole" of investment advice. I read him every day, and do the opposite of what he says. He has lost Billion$ for followers. Use him as a negative indicator and prosper.

  • Contradictions And Misnomers Discovered In SodaStream Presentation [View article]
As a Warren Buffett buff, I bought SODA several years ago as a superior, eco-friendly source of healthy drinks for my family. The stock has not rewarded my enthusiasm, but I note with great satisfaction the great number of my health-conscious neighbors who have embraced SODA. For the most part, they buy LOADS of CO2 in order to give themselves and their families healthy "sodas" flavored with fresh limes, lemons, oranges, tangerines, grapefruit, wheatgrass, chocolate, ginger, maple, etc. Their consumption has given our neighborhood (independant) housewares store a constant cash flow stream with a tiny inventory floor space. He loves it. Consumption in some Brooklyn neighborhoods is soaring as health nuts go basic! Warren may still be right! (Single serve doesn't make sense. Chemical carbonation will bite eventually, and it tastes HORRIBLE.)

  • The Fun Can't Last Forever At Cedar Fair, L.P. [View article]
The emphases throughout this article are negatively biased. Increasing profit margins are generally seen as a positive, for example. Land values from long-term ownership are not mentioned. Etc, etc. Seems like the Grinch was the author!

  • Sorry, SodaStream, But Healthy Doesn't Sell [View article]
As a long-time user (and, unfortunately investor) let me set some of these commentators straight. SodaStream has always been about two trends: cheap and healthy. In New York City, the largest consumption is in Brooklyn, among the Orthodox communities. They don't buy the syrup, they buy the seltzer. They buy lots and lots of gas refills. This is healthy.
Many other parts of the world like healthy. They like cheap. Driving flavored water in SUVs is not the norm (except in third world outposts like Texas and Arizona).
    The world will catch up.
PS. Why has there been no news of how the chemistry of the Keurig system works? Remember Pop Rocks? Imagine charging $1 for a crummy pop-rock soda spinoff? Can you spell short sale?
