  • Health Insurance Innovations Is The Best Play On Obamacare [View article]
How long do you see the feds ignoring the threat that low cost underwritten short term plans pose to the success of obamacrap? What would happen if they find a way to further regulate short term plans?

Nice reference Mr. Earning- "Matthew Yglesias is Slate's business and economics correspondent. Before joining the magazine he worked for ThinkProgress." Do you think he might lean liberal?
Affordable Care Act it is not, guaranteed issue low income insurance paid for by raising taxpayer premiums, it is. See Kaiser's site for your 2014 rate increase (if you are a taxpayer).... http://bit.ly/16jeLOr

Lets look at this stock from the Obama Administration's perspective....Short term plans will allow the private sector to sell underwritten plans that can deny people with pre-existing conditions. Healthy people will want to buy short term plans because they will be much less expensive than Obama Care. If they acquire a pre-existing condition while on short term, they jump on Obama Care and start filing claims. Short Term plans will destroy Obama Care. How long do you honestly think the Obama administration will allow this to happen?

My explanation- Those are not my words. They are the words of HII sales support as referenced. The phone number is there if you wish to verify first hand. I will offer my conjecture as to the reason the Starr Indemnity 2M 12 month short term was pulled...DOI issues and loss ratios. If you have factual information please reply.

    In the authors own words....
"Any partnership terminated or renegotiated by a large carrier or distributor may adversely affect HIIQ's operations; at year end 2012, Starr Indemnity, United States Fire, and Companion Life accounted for 46%, 25%, and 22% of premium equivalents, respectively."

Well....Starr Indemnity has pulled HII's best selling product. What are the implications on this stock Mr. Author?

It is incorrect to state that HII is not responsible for HII's distribution channels. They are entirely responsible for their distribution and will be held responsible by both the DOI and Carriers. Which is why I bring up the fact that Star Indemnity pulled the 2 million 12 month short term plan from HII. What was the reason and what are the future implications on this stock?

Many of us understand that Obama Care is designed as a stepping stone to full government control of the health care industry, by way of first the destruction of the private health care industry. Many of us know that the Obama administration will use all available means and government agencies to forward their agenda, including those means of illegal and unconstitutional nature. If the IRS is a weapon used against political foes, so too is the DOI when Obama Care is threatened by private enterprise.

Per HII sales support 1-877-376-5831 ext. 401...

"Starting June 15, 2013, Med Plus STM will no longer be offered as part of HII's short-term medical product portfolio. All Med Plus links will automatically be redirected to our top selling Short-Term Medical product, 1st Med STM. For the states where 1st Med STM is not available, your link will be redirected to our exciting NEW Essential STM product (see plan description below). If both 1st Med and Essential are not available, your link will then be redirected to Sensible Med STM. Be sure to review the top of the line features and benefits offered by each of these products."

Why did Star Indemnity, one of HII's leading carriers, pull their 2 million 12 month short term plan from HII? What does this say about the quality of carrier compliance maintained by HII's distribution channels? What does this say about the stability of the 2M 12 month short term plan HII now offers through Companion Life? What is the stability of this business model when the Obama administration learns that the short term medical "loophole" jeopardizes the success of Obama Care? Please be free to respond.
